I was wondering if it's even possible first of all for ones opioid high to be ruined by anything.
I have this idea that opiates block adrenalin and keep one calm (in other ways also) and if something was to release adrenalin (by shocking or scaring or alarming me) then it could affect the high in some way. Is this true? I personally feel when someone raises their voice, or talks to me too much when i feel like staying quiet, it kinda blows my high, if even only temporarily. Not sure though. What does everyone think? any input anyone has on this subject is welcome.
Thank you bluelighters!

First off welcome to Bluelight! It's a truly wonderful community. So much so that saying SWIM is against the rules! It makes things confusing for the reader and annoying for the poster. I really enjoy this rule.

As for your question. Personally, for me, going out/partying/meeting new people is a buzz kill. To a lesser extent, socializing with people who are not currently high is also a buzzkill. The reason why is simple; I just want to enjoy the awesome opiate high without distractions.

Also, I get irritable when dealing w/ others, which causes a bad vibe.

Also, some drugs overpower opiates just enough for me to considerate it a waste

I'm kind of the same tbh, depends what i'm on and my mood. But when someones irritated and i'm opiated, either i can deal with it easily and with a smile or it just annoys me and blows my high! ofcourse walking away from the source of pain gets my high back to wherever it was/should be again. )

Alcohol has always seemed to dull the high of opiates, which in turn makes me do more. Then my tolerance grows, which sucks. Honestly I love the 2 combined, but it has its downfalls.

Aw, i hate alcohol. It's cursed. have you tried smoking some weed instead? does that help you nod?

^^^ I was a straight up alcoholic for awhile. Even though I was only 8 years of hard drinking, my doctors already saw the damage I did to my liver. It's funny I was an alcoholic but I always hated it. It's just so easy to get and so easy to steal. Not to mention most people drink and don't do drugs.
