Alcohol Is there any way to regain the euphoria of alcohol once it has been lost?

Idk if I meet the criteria for a true alcoholic (according to AA) because by their definition it’s progressive. From aged 19-25 I drank everyday like 25+ drinks a day towards the end and then one day I was just over it and ever since binging etc. has lost its appeal but I definitely still find euphoria in drinking as long as it’s spaced out
 
If i have liver v failure can I drink alcohol? It's not bad I mean I'm on tablets for it. Just 4 beers
