My uncle just got prescribed 15 mg of opana ER this month, switched from 75 mcg fentanyl patch. I know that the rectal bioavailability is high enough to make it worth it to plug if he needs to get more out of the medicine if he is hurting. I have heard of people doing crazy, terribly unhealthy shit, as we all have heard, to break them down to IV. Is there a way to break them down like that but instead plug.I have heard of letting morphine sit in water for X amount of time. Anyway to make the new formula Opana ER's pluggable for the higher bioavailability.
I think the doctor prescribed him too little medicine at 15 mg Opana ER from 75 mcg patch every 3 days (and she was gonna switch it to every two days!! IDK WHY he wanted to try something new instead of just going with the patch every 2 days. I would love if you guys could help me so that I can help him. He would be so greatful if I could get him to get past the taboo of plugging haha. I plug my bupe everyday.

EDIT: Would dissolving it over 18-24 hours in lemon juice or coca cola and then plugging them work? WHERE ARE YOU TRICOMB, I am about to message you haha
