is the equivelent dose of xanax stronger than temaz

I ook 160mg temazepam today & still feel a bit anxious even after smoiing 2 bowls some nice person gave me. and 400mg codeine


now the benzo equivelnt chart starts than 4mg xanax is = to 160mg of temaze

would i be better off with the 4mg of xanax or is the benzo conversion right & it would have the same anitanxiety properties to 160mg temaze.

im assuming that the list of common used benzos listed from strongest to weakest is

xanax
klonopin
valium
temazepam

even if u take the suggested doses from the benzos equivelance chart

I also take zyprexa an antipychotic before bed could that be making my tolerance to benzos high cuz zyprexa is a much stronger sedative to 150mg temaze

is there any other drugs that increase tolerance tobenzos i should avoid
i think i read someone that tobacco smoking lowers the effects of xanax but not sure about other benzos what about antidepressants

even tho it may say 160mg of temazepam is eqivalent to 4mg of xanax doesn't necessarily they are both going to be just as sedating, some benzos arent as sedating as others at all at dose equivalence still.

Lol Zyprexa does nothing but make me a walking zombie. I think I've killed all sedative effects of drugs these days. 60 mg's of valium IV'd and all i got was a slight warm face. Then nothing.

The other night I took alcohol + 10mg Estazolam + 1 mg Lorazepam + 200 Mg diazepam + 25mg zolpidem now that was interesting.

160 mg of temazepam is a lot more euphoric and I would say you'd have more fun on it, the 4mg of xanax would be more anxiolytic.

Temazepam is a hypnotic benzo (helps you sleep), alprazolam/Xanax is an anxiolytic benzo (reduces anxiety) so equivalent doses will feel different. They are both fairly short acting, but alpraz is especially so. I personally find hypnotic benzos make me "feel more" than anxiolytic ones, which are pretty subtle..

When I was physically addicted to benzo's my general personal conversion was 1 mg of xanax = 30 mg's of temazepam.That was for withdrawal symptoms though.and clonazepam I thought was equal to xanax.So say on a day when I woke up in benzo w/d,I would almost always take either 10 mg's of xanax or clonazepam,or if I had neither of these and only temazepam I would take 300 mg's of temazepam.which would take care of all the w/d symptoms,like shakes,nausea extreme anxiety etc...
