is the Denver open-air tar market a myth?

everyones been telling me about it and i think it's a myth. Im not sourcing, as no one in the whole world has been helpful and i dont expect to be helped out NOW. Another BLer and I are s'posed to be meeting up today for some <black>coffee and the scavenger hunt will begin downtown in what has been described as-

"The Library, Courthouse, the northern edge of S. Bdway and CC Park"

there are a lot of courthouses downtown, and a lot of libraries. mostly denver is all about crack so im worried thats all there is to be found. Ive been told to look for hondurans or guatemalans or mexicans but ive only ever seen black dudes....

Not a myth.. but Civic Center park is generally just a good spot to get arrested or ripped off.
