Is such trip on KETAMINE possible ?

Hi folks!

A friend of mine claims that during his ketamine trips is favoruite way of tripping was the following one :

1. Open a nice photo from the past on the computer.

2. Stare at the photo for a few minutes.

Then he says he was able to 'transport' himself into the photo and be able to walk in the world depicted in the photo.

is this even possible ?

I have no reasons not to believe him apart from the story being REALLY UNBELIEVABLE.

I know that different things happen on dissociatives but this would be really wicked if it was possible!
 
Anything's possible given one's predispositions. What I'm saying is you can't recreate another person's experience, but you could probably do better for yourself.

you serious? if so, then wow! so jealous hmm actually never tried watching a movie on a high dose 2cb so maybe gonna give it a try lol
 
This and many far stranger things are possible on ketamine. Go read some trip reports of high dose ketamine.
 
I remember one time at a small parry at my friends house, my friends and I went upstairs to his bedroom to look through the photos of ourselves we had collected over the years on his computer, I done a nice size line of Ketamine and I started falling further into a hole whilst looking through the photos. I was getting very nostalgic and it actually really like I was going into the photos and reliving sine of the nights we had, amazing experience and I actually don't know why I have not repeated it, probably because I forgot about it u until now. Think I will try it again this weekend lol, thanks for reminding me.
 
I once holed out while watching Rob Dyrdik (sp?) Fantasy Factory while my buddy ran to the store. I had such a connection with the people in the show it honestly felt like I had known Rob all my life. When my buddy gets back I start blabbling how great is is to see Rob on TV and how him and I go way back and we'll be hanging out soon. I fucking love K :)
 
I guess it's possible, it's different for every single individual even if there are common themes and comparable effects described by people. What is unusual about these descriptions of effects is not how wild the idea is that this could be experienced but rather that typically the deepest of K effects are generated by internally experienced events... not so much based on sensory information. Or if it is based on sensory experience IME it's often very jumbled.

I can believe what you mentioned happening with 2C-E or salvia for example, also with K though.

Don't expect to get the same kind of results though. On the other hand, "contact high" -like phenomena can cause partial sharing of experiences. This can be very profound with ketamine, I have felt like a sort of mindmeld with other trippers but it is also classic that this mental bond be falling apart all of a sudden.
The same with talking and explaining theories to someone else, with K there can be a sudden moment when your thought pattern collapses on itself and if you try to recover it only gets worse. :D

I've done this sort of thing with both Ketamine and MXE, in fact I used to set my trips up in a similar way, I'd find a picture, movie or game I wanted to "act out", take a "hole" dose (aka a large enough dose to cause complete separation from the body, into alternate "worlds") and viola :D

Is this ultimately the goal of dissociatives? To be able to venture into an alternate reality at will to play around in your own sandbox?

I've never personally understood the appeal of dissociatives because unlike psychedelics which often share a lot of the same visuals and introspective examination among a broad spectrum of users, dissociatives seem to do bizarrely different things for different people. I've always wondered if you almost have to work with them to force them to do exactly what you want to do, but with enough work and patience you can literally do anything.

Am I wrong?
 
man ive never done ketamine, but reading this thread i think i may dose and watch some porn. that would be tripped out.
 
I have had more of this kind of trip while on Foxy, however once one is experienced enough to control his mind and visuals, possibilities open up and can be developed to where you can be the sculptor, creator, and master of your universe and your visuals whilst tripping. Ketamine for me, and I've done it a lot, due to its dissociative effects is a strange drug. There are also many many kinds of it all having different properties. The most recent k I was doing, liquid muscle popping, at one point I did a full cc and that was too much. I felt my soul vibrating at very high frequency, After a couple minutes my soul literally vibrates free of my body and I am full out of body experience frying. This was a slightly scary and uncomfortable experience although it was one of the only times where I had such powerful visuals that it felt more like a trip than a k-hole and I was not in control of my visuals or almost even my body for that matter.
When however I mix ketamine with LSD my visuals are catapulted to the next level and I remain in a very grounded bodily yet lifted mentally state. Again however ketamine comes in many different brands and as mentioned previously it can affect everyone different.
The kind of teleportation type scenario you mentioned sounds very possible with other psychedelics just for me personally I don't think K would be the catalyst for me to experience this type of phenomenon. Maybe foxy, maybe dmt, maybe mescaline or geltabs.
