Got some safe dilaudid 8mg and am a new opiod user so not down to inject but defintely dont feel like wasting these pills is snorting better?

Snorting them has a higher bioavailability and avoids first pass metabolism. It's also more addictive and dangerous.

I'm not sure how "new" you are to opioids, but snorting dillies is a fast pass to the road to becoming a junkie, so please take care. For all intents and purposes, you might as well be snorting heroin. If you are truly opioid naive, I might advise you not get into this. Sounds like cliche advice but it's true.... future you might look back on this day in infamy.

Well ive been snorting the 24h 100 mg morphine pills for the past few months so not super new but i hated the itching and irritability i had with those honestly they werent that nice. thanks for looking out i know its not healthy.

Are you expecting hydromorphone to be less itchy? Its probably not. Its significantly more potent than morphine.

The irritability likely comes as a side effect from opioids in general. Some people have anger issues on them. It could be even worse for you on dillies.

You can take an antihistamine for the itches.

Correct me if I'm wrong, ,but isn't' snorting morphine almost non-effective? It's BA is awful orally & nasally.

Hydromorphone also has horrible bioavailability orally & nasally. But I'm sure it works to a degree nasally.
I would recommend plugging (rectally), since it's as close to IV as you can get with most drugs, without actually IVing anything.

But as Quasimoto pointed out, Dilaudid is a pretty potent opioid for some one to casually be starting out with.

I've never had to the chance to take hydromorphone (unfortunately), but I have read that heroin users find hydromorphone just as pleasurable as heroin in substitution programs.

If you hate the itching, opioids might not be for you. Some opioids don't cause histamine release like morphine & heroin do. I actually enjoy the itching because it's a reminder that you're high as hell on a lovely drug. It goes away with tolerance, but your goal shouldn't be to get a tolerance to make the itching going away. If the itching bothers you to that degree, consider it a sign that maybe this class of drugs isn't for you. Wait until you can't poop for 3-5 days & then you'll really see what lovely side effects opioid use can cause (and I LOVE opioids, but being realistic here).

Dilly is by far the most addictive opiate i have ever done. I used to slam so much of that back in the day

I don't know about hydromorphone for sure, but I wanted to point out that some opioids can be more potent than morphine & have no histamine release (which causes the itching) at all.
For example, I use to get really itchy on tramadol & heroin. But I've never had the itches from things like hydrocodone, buprenorphine, methadone or fentanyl, which are all way more potent than morphine.
