is SJW and ayahuasca contraindicated

if i'm taking saint john's wart, should i discontinue it for a certain period of time before i can take ayahuasca? i'm asking b/c i'm looking for an antidepressant i can take as a temporary crutch, yet i want to be able partake in the great ayahuasca...

Doesn't SJW block the effects of psychedelics anyway?
