Is salvia illegal to import?

i came across a web site selling salvia 20x and sent them an email about sending it to australia, the reply i got pretty much said we can do it we have done it it it works (most oft he time) and its at your own risk. i figured this anyway, what i wanted to know is if it is stoped at customs what am i at risk for and how much trouble can i get into?

Also realise it is an offense to grow Saliva in most if not all states of Australia.
