Is phenylethylamine legal or no?

I got some phenylethylamine for workout and studying. I was unable to find the legality of it. But surprisingly it was sold on amazon as a dietary supplement. I think it's a dietary supplement, I dunno. Is phenylethylamine legal or no? FDA approved? Scheduled?

Yes, it's legal. Not FDA approved specifically per se though. Not scheduled (that is the same as saying it's legal).

Its a natural chemical found and we all have it in our body in the first place, so it can’t be banned as it is not a drug. However, I also can’t find info if its approved by FDA even at the official FDA site

If you eat enough, or take some with an maoi you can get high off it. I remember smashing out 100 push ups on the gym floor when my best before that was about 60.
