Benzos Is Phenibut ACTUALLY a CNS depressant?

Everything in the title. Have seen people saying that it is, but in my experience it seems to stimulate me and keep me up all night (very much the opposite experience compared to valium). Also, if it is, then why doesn't it say on the wiki page?

It definitely is a CNS depressant because it is a GABA agonist.

A great deal of CNS stimulate me as well and keep me up at night.

the stuff can put me out from baseline without question around 3 grams or so, and works as a great all-day anti anxiety supplement at around 600-700mg

phenibut is a strange drug..i have taken alot of it and at times it can make me feel very drowsy and sedated but other times i feel like im on speed without the jittery nasty effects..yes if i take phenibut too close to bed and im awake all night...for being legal and cheap though it is very effective..

when using phenibut, i have to use other methods to sleep.. but when i am up the next morning i have orgasmic body energy to just lay in bed.
never exceeding 2g

So I'm assuming then that if it's mixed with large amounts of alcohol (or even a medium amount, like half a bottle of wine), then it can be dangerous?
