Misc Is oxcarbazepine useful for stims comedown?

Some bluelighter once posted that trileptal (oxcarbazepine) along with xanax helped him in his cocaine comedowns.

I'd like to know if any of you have tried it for this same propose. Im always looking for news option to easy stims comedowns, and this one called my attention.

No, it is only useful when it's prescribed to you or you are having a seizure.

It's prob just the xanax that helped your friend. Anything he felt in addition to that is placebo.

It's also used for trigeminal neuralgia if the patient is resistant to carbamazepine, but that's not associated with stimulant abuse.

I agree with shooly, pharmacologically I don't see it as beneficial at all except perhaps mildly increasing the xanax-induced sedation. I can't see it helping alone.
