is one hit for the first time not enough?

ok so i know there is no way of knowing how much is on the blotter, but i hear that still 1 barely gets you a feel of lucy. i'm going to do acid for the first time in about a week, and was wondering if i should go for two instead?
 
don't ask us.

ask the guy selling it to you. ask the people who have eaten this batch before. ask your mom :)
 
Is this your first time doing a psych? If so just stick with one. If you're experienced you should be fine with two...
 
Start with one. I had one tab that people said wasnt especially strong my first time and it was an amazing experience but I'm glad I didnt have 2.

Of course setting is important here as I was at a music festival in the bush - if youre at home you can probably get away with having more. Even so you can always have more next time, you cant have less once you've taken it
 
depends on the strength. Im about to do it my first time and the hit sold to me is a premium 250 ugs... should I take that whole thing? I have experience with DXM, DPH, weed, amanita muscaria, and party pills.
 
a stronger dose needs a more carefully chosen setting, more risk of things going wrong. my first trip was a mild affair on mushrooms but that didn't stop it being any less novel or amazing
 
Most chemists/dealers don't measure the dose of LSD on a tab. According to Erowid, a typical blotter contains anywhere from 30-100 ug. When dealers make claims like "250 ug" or "double dipped tabs" they generally have no idea what they are talking about. What they are really saying is, "this is a particularly strong batch of tabs". Its the same level of bullshit as "tripple stacked e".

The short answer is "Yes, take the whole thing, but start with just one". Have fun.

it all depends on what your expectations are. if you ve never tried it before, you should stick to one.
also, even if it is low dose, dont let that drag you down. it isnt for nothing that there is a very long thread of low dose acid appreciation....

thats what I thought when he told me that. I will be taking the whole thing :D Ive got the right set and setting and im in the best mindset ive been in months :) im ready to journey

no thank you :) i have to go to work and set and setting are important lol maybe this saturday if I have the day off :) Ive done crazier things though.. high dose DXM is complete sensory confusion. at that point everything in front of me was just massive blurry blobs of bright purple and blue, no more objects with textures, just blobs.. If I survived that sanity intact, one hit of lsd should be a cake walk. But i respect the drug and its powers dont get me wrong. ;)
 
Depends on the blotter (dosage) and what you are looking for really, individual to each person. I advise taking one for your first time, even if it is a low dose it's a new drug you'll still enjoy it.
 
I've had some 400 ug blotters before. 1 half of those hits worked so tread easy. All depends on who handled the blotters and how much degradation its endured.
 
this weekend i have a chance to trip for the first time, but the acid is in liquid form. my friends are giving me 1 drop which they said is anywhere from 2-3 hits. i was hoping to get blotter paper and was planning on taking two, but the liquid is all thats available. i feel mentally prepared, and will be with friends but is this still a large dose for the first time? would it be possible to put it on a sugar cube and then break part off?

If its anywhere near 250 mics then it wont be a cakewalk just because you've had high dose dxm. They are very very different and a big part of why LSD is so intense is that everything seems so real rather than "blurry blobs of bright purple and blue, no more objects with textures".

I'm sure you'll be fine and have a great time but just be prepared for it to be very intense and potentially muchmore full-on than dxm.
 
If its mid sort of strength it should be enough. Its likely to be fairly euphoric, and give you good feel for it. But of course everyones different. Stick with one.

Have you ever had a 4th plateau experience mixed with weed? I died multiple times... I built whole kingdoms in my mind that I fully thought were real, and watched them fall to the ground. I became my bathroom floor and thought children were dancing on me, I was not a human being anymore, I had no clue what I was and what was going on. Moving was impossible, I was completely at the mercy of dxm and canabis. Time was non existent. I spent what seemed thousands of years flying through astral dimensions or thinking I was somewhere else doing something else when really I was contorted on the bathroom floor. People don't respect dxm because it's legal.. But if you don't tread careful.. It demands your respect. I've seen many a friend end up in the bathtub talking to themselves in the craziest way on dxm. You have no idea how powerful dxm can be man, especially mixed with weed.

I personally find dissocatives a lot smoother running (more so you observe rather than have it take a hold of you) than acid, but maybe that's just me.

It's worth keeping in mind for anyone who plans to try acid in this thread to maybe bring a few mg of valium/xanax in case it is a strong dose or you don't find tripping enjoyable. If you eat a few tabs of either (less so with Xanax obviously) you'll be back to base line, or if not feeling much more comfortable than half an hour before. It's a weird experience though feeling valium kicking in with acid, kinda seems to happen in stages.
 
Yeah I have Xanax on standby just in case things go south. How many mgs do you think will bring me down? I only use benzos on occasion and 2 mg gets me feeling oblivious to everything. Do I need more to overpower the Lucy or would 2nd Xanax be good? More? Less? Not that I plan on aborting but in case I have a meltdown. Also I acquired some Zyprexa which is an antipsychotic. Would this return me to baseline?
 
how about taking 1 and a half hits? or is the acid usually on like on part of the blotter paper, so is that a good idea?
