Harm Reduction Is my drug career over? (asthma)

Have athma since childhood and I have been sniffing stims for the last 8 years with no issues. I smoke cigs as well but don't smoke anything else.
I avoid smoking meth due to athma, but oral and nasal is fine and doesnt cause any issues. To clarify I have milder activity induced athma (oxidative stress linked).
If i had heavy attacks I would prob avoid any street stuff.

I think my asthma is more mild... if fact i did a lung test last night and the tech that was doing it says he doesnt even think its asthma????? (yet i end up in the ER almost puking from coughing and short of breath with a tight chest???) . He thinks this because my lungs seemed strong and the test normal??? oh well i see my doc on thurs so because something aint right. thank you all for your replies they are most apreciated. its funny i was snorting lorazepam for a week with no issues. Maybe im just allergic to smoke from all the smoking of various substances during the last 10 years

ditto. ive got fairly severe asthma.. if i dont have blue inhaler for a week or so i can die. the reason for this is likely the fact ive been hooked on nicotene for 12odd years now, smoked nasty soapbar daily throughout my youth (yanks; a tar laden cheap & dirty type of hash), smoked heroin heavily for six or so years (if it collects on tooter you can be pretty sure its doing likewise in your lungs) and have lived in shitty, dust and damp filled homes pretty much all my life. so if anyone has fucked himself up asthma-wise its yours truly.. and yet even i can manage my chest with the right medication


in short, keep on taking the steps you have been and aim to relieve your lungs from unnecessary burdens so that you may continue to enjoy life and drugs as safely as possible



i hear ya though man, asthma attacks are no fun. wheezing like an old man and using every ounce of strength just to breathe. thank god we live nowadays and not a few hundred years ago when asthma i would imagine was a death sentance

try ventolin and seretide ? seretide is a preventer which basically fucks ur asthma off for the day and ventolin is just the instant reliever , ive had asthma sorta bad since i was 11 , started smoking weed at 13 now im 17 and my lungs are fucked but i use those and im sweet . pretty sure weeds meant to help with asthma or something as well , doesnt help me but ive read about it .

Inhaling smoke of any kind is not wise for asthmatics.
I do agree though, taking a maintenance/preventive asthma medication along with having a fast acting inhaler for attacks really has made a huge fucking difference for me. Symbicort has treated me well.
