is MS Contin good?

is ms contin any good?
ive got a 100mg pill.
my tolerance to oxy and hydro is 30-40
so what shall i do with this 100mg ms contin?

Well it is morphine, which is good; but ms-contin is the shittyest form that I have come into contact with.

Well since its ms-contin I dont reccomend snorting it. Best thing to do would be either crush and parachute the entire pill and get a good high. You could dissolve in cold water and plug, but if you plug its a bit more potent so I would do like 50mg.
 
It is a decent drug, but kind of hard to work with. Not unlike trying to chop up a candle.

I have used them every which way... they're just a crappy pill and IMO oral is the only way to go.
 
Just don't go and take the whole 100 mg's. Hopefully you havent done that already. With a tolerance as low as yours, start with 50 mg's. have fun
 
thats not that small of a tolerance... you might be alright taking the whole thing at once.... only because im not sure how high 50 mgs would get you.... i would probably blow it. but i love snorting pills, doesnt matter how bioavailable they are.

with your tolerance tho, i would go half or quarter.

I have noticed alot of ppl here dont seem to like the ol MS contins, just bad cooks IMO hahaha

ya will need more than a 1ml fit tho dude, like a 3 to 5ml is good.

If you don't get an overwhelming buzz from 40 mg oxy, taking the whole pill (crushed). That would be your best bet. The oral bioavailability on these are SO low. If it takes 30-40 mg oxy to get high, 50 mg MS-Contin will be NOTHING.
 
Ms contin is pretty good for pain relief (im on it now) but you dont get much of a buzz off it. This is due to the low oral bioavailability of morphine. I think the bioavailability when you snort it is even lower but it feel's stronger when you snort it because it hit's you much faster.

I get a generic brand (basically just morphine sulfate SR) and it's pretty easy to get the coating and all that shit off so you can snort it if you want. But i dont do that unless im too sick to take a pill. Sometimes if im in alot of pain or just want a good buzz i just crush the fucker's up nice and fine and swallow them.

I dont think ive actually had the name brand ms contin's but i hear the coating is a bitch to get around.

One alternative is called Kadian. The last time I saw one (a few years ago), it was capsule with time release pellets.

Oxycodone gives more of a bang then morphine that's for sure but id have to say these day's im leaning toward's morphine as a better opiate.

I find oxy to be way too stimulating i cant sleep at all on that stuff anymore even if i take a benzo with it. With morphine i can just sit back and relax and nod off.

If i want to get stuff done though i will take oxy because i get all motivated and shit and cant sit down.
 
Paranoid, what you say about Oxycontin is true......Someone asked me why is Oxycontin so popular.....well its unique in the opiate world in that its the only opiate that does not make you drowsy.....it has a stimulating effect on your system.....much like a "Speedball" (Heroin and Cocaine mixture). It is a very social drug in that you can function while taking it....going to work and school is a breeze, where if you were taking other opiates you would be sleepy, drowzy, nodding etc......yes, Oxycontin is indeed a unique drug
 
Snorting ms-contin is fine, pour it on a plate, chrush the beads with a spoon, line up and sniff. WIth your tollorance I'd say snort 60mg's at first.... wait a while, if it dosent kick in after 30 mins or so, take another 10 mg bump untill you feel good. Don't dirnk or do any other drugs on them.
 
Morphine is okay I guess, it is not nearly my favorite opiate but not my least favorite either. It is my opinion that purdue mscontin's suck because the time release wax matrix of the pills are a pain in the ass to deal with.
 
^They are a pain, especially trying to IV them. Several people talk about how easy it is to get around the wax matrix, but I apparently don't retain that skill. Besides, it takes me over 400 mg of MS to even know I took it...it's not worth my time.
 
You guys that are recommending that he takes 50 mg oral, do you have experience with MS Contin? I had a very small Oxy tolerance...needed about 30 mg to feel good. I would plug 100 mg of MSContin and get a similar buzz. 100 mg oral would do pretty much jack shit. Don't tell him something that would cause him to waste it. To the original poster...plug the whole thing if you have a 40 mg oxy tolerance.
