It sounds like a pretty bad idea. Essentially, I'm in Holland. Holland has the best MDMA ever, and I'm going back to the USA July 1st. I was diagnosed with lyme in February, took meds for 3 months, and am now off them. I still am taking herbal supplements. The disease is still giving me trouble sleeping, and my appetite is a bit off, but other than that I feel pretty good. I read some horror stories online about being taking MDMA and it bringing out lyme since it is an immunosuppresant, but most of these people seemed to have lyme and not know it until taking MDMA...

Any science geeks here have an answer for me? I'm leaning towards no but I really want to do it...I Drink alcohol sometimes with lyme and am alright

Just moved the thread from Basic Drug Discussion to Ecstasy Discussion.

Welcome to Bluelight by the way :)

I know that symptoms of MDMA induced anxiety/depression can sometimes mirror symptoms of lyme disease.

I have no personal experience, however, I do know that if you are susceptible to anxiety or other mental illness, MDMA can trigger an extended period of discomfort.

It is all a personal choice. Chances are you will be fine and have a good time. Are you willing to risk the unknown to potentially worsen the mental symptoms of lyme?

You can try, but the benefits definitely dont outweigh the agony for me. Ive had neurological lyme for 8+ years, and even though I still indulge occasionally, it definitely exacerbates my symptoms for a couple days. Just keep your doses small and be ready for an extra-crappy hangover.
