Is Klonopin that's been expired since April 2010 safe to take? From what I've gathered, it's probably lost a lot of it's potency, but it's otherwise as safe as taking non-expired klonopin.
It is safe, and if it has been stored in proper conditions (away from excessive heat/cold and humidity) it will probably have all or nearly all of its potency.
I've taken pills that were 15 years old and had been stored correctly before and they had 100% of their potency still.
Yep, should be just fine. Proper storage gives them a serious shelf-life, nowhere near the date on the prescription bottle. Even improperly stored, they should retain their potency for a good, long time.
