Is it safe to smoke weed after a tummy tuck surgery?

I had a tummy tuck surgery two days ago to get rid of extra skin after a lot of weight loss. I was wondering if it would be ok to smoke a little bit of marijuana. Would doing this hinder my recovery? Would there be any complications if i smoked?

I would definitely recommend NOT smoking for at least 3 weeks after your surgery.

You want the maximum amount of oxygen getting to all of your wound sites and you basically need to be in the best shape possible for a good recovery and scar minimization. Just focus on resting and eating well for now.
