Opioids Is it safe to mix lithium with heroin>

Just curious.. I just started lithium for my bi polar disorder. Wondering if it's safe to do heroin still..

Well it should be. I know people on various opiates that are also on lithium for bipolar and nothing bad happened to them. I was going to go on lithium but the psych thought it wouldnt help the type of bipolar i had too much and i can't be bothered with the blood tests. I was also on morphine and hydromorphone at the time both prescribed so i can't see much going wrong.
