Is it possible to Iv acetyl-fentanyl?

I have come into a sample of acetyl-fentanyl. Does not dissolve in water, lemon, or vinegar. I can not find any info on how to IV this particular drug. Thoughts or ideas welcome :)

Considering the doses are meant to be tiny (<1mg), it shouldn't matter how good it is at dissolving, 1ml of water should do it. Unless it's mixed with something?

What formulation do you have it in? Are you aware that IVing such a potent narcotic is extremely dangerous?

CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION

IV'ing Fentanyl kills people... seriously. Dosages are MICROgrams (like @nAON said, LESS than a mg). Easy easy way to end up doing the dead fish flop on your carpet.

A touch of propylene glycol is your best bet for getting it to dissolve but I'm not sure if it's safe to IV. Either way do not attempt measuring an IV dose without a scale that accurately reads milligrams (.001). The recreational dose for opiate naive users is going to fall somewhere between 5mg and 10mg (and I would suggest considering a titration starting with 1mg just to be safe). Seriously though, fentanyl and its analogues are quite potent, and overdose is common, so before you embark on an IV adventure, please weigh the risks.

^Huh.

CAUTION!
5mg of fentanyl would kill even a superman.

Why would you give out such an advice?

2mcg to 8mcg would be much safer.

Do you understand that 5mg is thousand times more than 5mcg?

Acetyl-fentanyl is an order of magnitude less potent than "real" fentanyl. The dose is much higher than a few micrograms, but it's still in the milligram range. A proper scale is a requirement.

On paper you can IV it but that needs a drug in solution. Try gently warming it with a mild acid solution. If it won't go into dilute citric acid or vinegar with gentle heating then it may not even be acetyl-fentanyl.
Once its dissolved you can back titrate it with sodium bicarbonate or something to a vein safe pH. It's probably not good to inject anything more than a very small amount of diluted acid. I guess you could just dilute your acidic drug solution in some distilled water, too.

Don't try dissolving it in lemon juice, that is a good way to get a fungal infection in your veins or heart valves.

I know how many micrograms are in a milligram. I suggested a titration starting with 1mg because based on my experience with acetyl-fentanyl and all of the reports I have read, people seem to find their ideal recreational dose falling in the low milligram range. I also advised practicing extreme caution. I'm not particularly comfortable with injecting fentanyl or its analogues myself so I'm not inclined to encourage it... I'm just attempting to pass along a bit of information I have gained from experience. I suspect you have no experience with this chemical or you wouldn't be confusing it with fentanyl (which is quite a bit more potent) and you wouldn't be talking to me as though I were stupid. How offensive ;)
