Is it possible to get Valium withdraw after only two weeks?

I’m sorry bud, but that’s paws as I know it 🤷‍♀️

Again.. I’m not you. So I won’t fight with what you’re going through. Edit: I couldn’t help myself. Apologies.

Be well ❤️

Minor benzo withdrawal will make you agitated, irritated, and make you want to rip your fucking face off .. and everyone else’s.

I’ve never been in full blown benzo withdrawal as I’ve mentioned.

Major benzo withdrawal will make you want to hurt yourself type thing… at the very least. This is what I’ve seen other people go through.

Just trying to point you in the right direction. Or help in some small way. That’s paws.

I still experience paws 8 months after dropping from 24mg subs to 8mg. It’s tricky. And it lasts. Especially depending on doses and length of time as @Coffeeshroom has mentioned.

It's def not paws I'm shitting, hot and cold flashes, dizzy, watery eyes and yawning the whole shebang. It is minor but is currently making enough issues for me at work. Started feeling off on the third day of cessation so I imagine it is the diazapam but minor compared to full blown benzo wd, just an annoyance and I'm not too versed when it comes to benzo wd
Just pasting the correct scientific text from the Martindale.

Diazepam has a biphasic half-life with an initial rapid distribution phase and a prolonged terminal elimination phase of 1 or 2 days; its action is further prolonged by the even longer half-life of 2 to 5 days of its principal active metabolite, desmethyldiazepam (nordazepam). Diazepam and desmethyldiazepam accumulate on repeated dosage and the relative proportion of desmethyldiazepam in the body increases with longterm use. No simple correlation has been found between plasma concentrations of diazepam or its metabolites and their therapeutic effect.

So there it is. This should help you in knowing how long it will be in your system for.
But in your case it could be a lot shorter as you were not taking them for very long and not abusing them.

Sorry but eve

I don't agree about the hurting part unless you have predisposed depression and past aft of self harm but if not. Nah. Plus I can promise you if you had any benzo addiction of any sorts, you will feel wds, within 2--3 days of no use and normally anxiety rebound is 1st like symptom, like the whole world is closing in on you.

But from the side you have explained so far they sound more opioid related.

Like i ask earlier, what did you use and how long. Anything longer then a 3 week use will cause an addiction, sorry to say.. anyhow.

Personal get a piece of leather and just bite down on it.

Meant it as a “it’ll make you want to suicide” type thing. “Hurt yourself” … you know? lol trying to be nice with my words. Probably should’ve been more clear.

And with that said I don't believe it to be benzo wd, once again, that's just me. But as someone who uses diazepam daily, I know that if I go a max of 2 days without it, I get wds, depression, agitation, severe anxiety, racing mind and etc.... benzos AZ mentioned is not something to be fucked with. Sorry couldn't think of a better word

I used kava and gabapentin for a week after kicking the opiates and then used Valium on and off with 2-3 days breaks (2) to be specific for 2 weeks then cut it out. I had no opiate withdrawal symptoms on the off days and only after the second week and being off Diaz for 3 days did I start to feel like shit again, physically.

Yeah, take your Ritalin.

I was prescribed adderall after years of opi/coke/benzo abuse. It made a world of difference for me.

I’m willing to bet it’ll make you feel slightly better. Maybe even a decent bit better.
I’ve always found my adderall makes me feel a shit ton better when I’m in opioid withdrawal. Or experiencing PAWS related symptoms.
Hides a lot of the pain I get built up in my muscles. It can also do the opposite depending on how tense I am. But that’s usually in my jaw area.
People are weird. Drugs are weird.

I always take a little less than I’m prescribed when I jump back on them. Helps with what I just mentioned above.

I agree Adderall and meth have always made opi withdraw a piece of cake for me problem is there is a shortage of Adderall so I'm on Ritalin which already can give me anxiety just worried it'll make me spin out at work as I am pretty sure I do have benzo wd although rather minor I don't know how stims during benzo wd would go appreciate all the kind detailed responses from all of you though

Ya I really do wish I could get on Adderall. It is so much cleaner and clearer than methylphenidate which can feel kind of dirty and not help me focus as much as an amphetamine based stimulant. My girl is a pharmacist and I talked to her she said she can make sure I could get my Adderall every month issue now is just getting my doc to switch me.

Eeh… I wasn’t a fan of Ritalin either for the same reasons.
Would you feel comfortable taking even a quarter of the dose? Is it IR? How many mg?
Maybe you could start low and taper up if necessary.

I mean.. who am I to say you’re not experiencing what you’re experiencing. I feel like we’ve just been trying to point your thoughts in the right direction… but Again.. I’m not you. Maybe you’re very sensitive to benzos. IF it’s a mild benzo WD, you’re almost certainly experiencing PAWS as well.

That may suck to hear… I don’t really know? Maybe I’m not understanding everything you’re really saying. I’m not an expert.

Feeling anxiety is part of paws just as it’s part of benzo WD. The watery eyes, yawning, etc… opioids. Hands down. Irritated? Opioids or benzos. Both do it.

I dunno. I won’t keep going on about it though.. sorry if I’ve said anything that’s upset you in any way. Was never my intention.

I really do wish you well. I know it’s a very uncomfortable place to be in… regardless of what’s causing it.

I’m not sure why a doctor wouldn’t take someone off Ritalin and put them on adderall. As you said… it’s a MUCH cleaner feeling.

I switched to Ritalin for 2 weeks. Couldn’t handle it. I also snorted my way through the whole bottle and it was such a dirty fucking baby Coke high that made me want to punch my eyeballs out. (Don’t mind me)

Adderall isn’t for everyone either.. but it works perfectly for me.

Hope your dr agrees.

Okay but what opioid and how long where you on it

He said there's a shortage, he's a brand new doc I had just moved so he doesn't know me like that but I told em my old doc was gonna switch me to Adderall but at the time insurance wouldn't cover it but now that my insurance would I'd like to switch and he just said there's a shortage. Next appointment I'm going to bring up that my girl is a pharmacist where I get my script filled and she said she could make sure I get my Adderall each month

Ritilan is very much outdated. My main issue is even with the ER version it wears off so fast. Also feels very dirty and cloudy as I said before. I hope he does end up switching me bc I'm really struggling and Ritalin just doesn't cut it even when I was on 60mg per day of IR 20 x3 per day

Yeah it’s an awful drug as far as I’m concerned as well. I’ve tried everything available in Canada for ADHD and Adderall was the only thing that made me feel human and half normal.
