This might sound like a weird question, but let me elaborate:
recently a mate and me came across some new pills (we are both pretty experienced, knowledgable MDMA users and we use our common sense with the substance)
Firstly they have been documented well on pillreports (http://www.pillreports.com/index.php?page=display_pill&id=29998) and every comment and every report there says the same: they are FANTASTIC. First batch is supposed to be 170-190mg MDMA content, second batch is even stronger tested at more than 200mg. The report contains pictures and I am absolutely sure they are the same pills we have (well let me put it in another way, we are sure it's the exact same stamp, same high grade details, same color as in the pictures). These pills (first batch) appeared on the market about 4 months ago and the new batch about 2 months ago. There are lots of comments on the report all pointing to the pills being fantastic.
Secondly we know someone that came across the same pills we have at the same time in the same region, same stamp same color and he also says they are amazing. BUT he told us the first time he used them he didn't feel anything either, the second time he used them (he bought them all at once so they were the same pills both times) he rolled hard.
Knowing all this we were very anxious to test them and did so last weekend. Because they are supposed to be very strong we decided to start with a half pill each and see how much more we could handle after that, so we took half. An hour later we felt nothing, absolutely nothing and we were surprised so we decided do drop a whole one each on top of the half. An hour after that we felt a little bit of an MDMA-feeling (if I'd have to put a number on it I'd say about 100mg, enough to feel happy but not be in love with the entire world) and we stopped dropping because we were disappointed.
We both didn't eat alot and it was 4 months since we last rolled so we should have been rolling very hard.
My question is this: are they fake pills (seems unlikely because of the professionality of the press, I've never seen such beautifuly detailed pills, you can't see it in the picture but they have more details stamped in them, seems a waste to make fakes and on top of that they have only been around for 4 months) or is it possible we somehow blocked the effects? I mean it wasn't that great of a party, lots of people there that I wouldn't like to know we do drugs, maybe we blocked it because we didn't want to trip there? Anyways it's very strange, normally I would've thought "well these are just bad pills", but ALL evidence points to the contrary. Or could you think of another reason these didn't have any effect?
