Opioids Is it possible for DXM to prevent tolerance during methadone maintenance?

And also will it cause my daily dose to be stronger? I ask because I know that DXM is an NMDA antagonist, as is half of methadone, so maybe that would help prevent buildup of tolerance for a much longer time than usual. I find MMT very effective, and would be devastated should I have to come off it. I have stayed 99.9999% clean since maintenance day because I enjoy the methadone, getting up early for it ever, the subtle feeling of relaxation and everything being happier.

SO would it help if I took a normal dose of DXM (in Nyquil I guess), let's say 30-45 mL BEFORE dosing the methadone itself, would that work?
