Is it ok to roll after taking SSRIs for two weeks?

I have been taking them for exactly two weeks now (for anxiety, not depression), but I want to roll one last time before I really start straightening my life out (SSRIs, therapy, mediTation, etc). Will it be ok for me to stop, roll a couple of weeks later, and then start taking the SSRIs again?

I just have a weird relationship with MDMA that no one understands, a sort of obsession, so that's why I NEED to roll one last time before I start taking my meds for God knows how long (so bye, bye MDMA until I'm off the meds, whenever that will be).

Well you'll probably have a decent roll if you've only been on SSRIs for two weeks and you're going to be taking a few weeks off. But I mean do you really want to do that? I am guessing you're on SSRIs for a reason...

Just saying man. Personally, I would never take SSRIs in the first place, but that's just me.

i've been on SSRIs for 3months (i haven't taken mine since 6am monday) . my husband and i decided to take what we were told to be "molly" last night. i think it may have been mde... but i could be wrong. i came up and got a slight roll effect for a short period of time (about 20-45min. couldn't say exactly how long cause i took 3hits of lsd as well), my husband said he felt nothing (he doesn't take any prescribed medication. i share my suboxone with him, but, from what i've been told by multiple people, that shouldn't have affected the molly as the molly has no opiates in it. i didn't take any suboxone for 2days and i don't think he did either, but i could be wrong about that, too)... we ended up falling asleep after a 167.678mg line (we both did that much). we woke up and he said he felt something like a xanax buzz. we then did another line (250mg this time) and the same thing. he said he felt sick to his stomache and he could barely hold his eyes open. we both fell asleep again. we woke up and did the remainder of the gram of "molly" and nothing. i did everything i knew to do to get us both to blow up and it never happened. the only way we even knew it was real was that he bought a 12panel drug test and i pissed in the cup and it came up positive for methamphetamine, amphetamine, and mdma. we're sending the test off to a lab to have it verified. i'm sure you could try it and get off on it. but just hope you don't get anything like the shit i got. i think it may have been cut with a shit ton of baking soda... best of luck with everything! :)

If you've been on SSRIs for such a short period of time, it shouldn't be a problem rolling, but is that really something you want to do? Rolling knowing it will be your 'last roll' doesn't sound like a lot of fun really, it sounds like you'd be chasing the high knowing you'll never have it again, or just not starting the SSRIs again so you can keep rolling. If you have an 'obsession' with MDMA as you put it, then I'd just try to accept that your last roll was your last and try not to tempt fate.

I second this.

You'd probably be fine but you should look up the half-life for whatever SSRI you're taking to see approximately when it will leave your system. Hopefully the withdrawal won't be very bad as you've only been on them for two weeks, but be prepared to possibly need to taper off your meds for a week or so before stopping them fully.
