Is it normal for my girlfiend to have a severe lack of libido on anti-depresseants?

Yeah it is normal. I can tell you she probably hates it way more than you even. I have been only doung things for my honeys sake for 6 months as I get the same issue from different medication.

I feel terrible and instead of giving me anything that helps (never been depressed and none prescribed do anything) my Dr. has been giving me anti-depressants. I tried posting a thread on BL for advice for my issue and no one even understood my situation and acted like I was doing something wrong. Assholes. Now its closed.

Anywho, I'd just look up side effects if I was you on any search engine.

Yeah, mine went completely on Fluoexetine and Citalopram. So fucking frustrating.

How long have you been together? If it's longer than a year, then that'll explain it I reckon. Having sex with the same fucking person for that long will dampen anybody's mojo.

In all seriousness, however (though the above was at least semi-serious), yes, SSRIs could very likely be affecting her sex drive, but maybe it's the underlying depression to some extent too?

Loss of libido is a fairly common side-effect, or so I've been told to expect... 8)

I had a similar sort of experience on other medications too.

Meh. Miss giving my gf hungover head, haha. Hope that isn't tmi (but this is bluelight.)

In response to OP I'm on Sertraline and it pisses me the fuck off. I get aroused easy but it is extremely difficult to blow my load.

not sure about you Sammy but going down on a girl is one of my favorite things ever : ) (up there with lsd, cycling, booze and etizolam)

sex is good, but learn how a girl likes to get eaten and you'll win her heart forever : ) haha

QFT! :! I much prefer going down on my mrs than have her going down on me - especially when she comes in my face 8o

You're obviously still in the honeymoon phase of sex, where it's all fantastic. Enjoy it, because it won't last, especially if your sex life is centred on a long-term relationship.

Before you know it you'll be doing things by rote and what was once your favourite thing becomes a dreary routine, and you'll either resort to bringing a book into the bedroom or to the kind of embarrassing half-arsed dressing up and role play that faded middle-agers claim keeps their sex lives 'vibrant'. Or, god forbid, watching porn together. Why not each just go off and have a wank and then come back and do a crossword together, for fuck's sake? At least that's honest.

A number of women I've met have hated it anyhow, either because they don't like the sensation (strange but true), or because their idea of sex with a man doesn't involve him being their servile lapdog. Which isn't to say it's necessarily a submissive act on the part of the male, but either through nature or nurture, that's what these chicks think, and I'm not one to argue with them. Coincidentally, they tend to give the best head too.

In any case, I don't want to win anybody's heart. I'd rather win the pools, ta very much.
