90% for flower??? You sure you're not thinking of a concentrate? I trust you, that's just an insanely stupid bump up lol. Whoever claimed 90% was just some dumb plug or something lol, or otherwise someone who knows nothing about how cannabis works.
It's supposed to top off at 35%, 33-35% is generally around where it tops off. Pineapple Express being 30% from Cali was believable, but the GMO at 42.8% just wasn't, especially when the Pineapple would get my ass fucked up beyond belief in comparison.
It seems Colorado and Nevada were already caught doing this. Well, add California to that list. Crazy high THC claims just don't really fly in my area for whatever reason. People are a lot more obsessed with terps around here. I'll hardly be caught hitting flower lower than 2% terpenes these days unless I see good distribution of them.
Super weed snobby of me, someone who once thought people like this were weed snobs, but it's for the best lol. I need to know what strains and terpene combos can let me choose what the best medicine for the night will be. Do I wanna get really uplifted and energized, do I wanna chill and feel tingly, etc. Too many stoners even still are sleeping on terps, I can't believe I didn't really turn on to them until around the middle of 2025.
Everything about cannabis has been better knowing I can shop by terps, but not every site will post them, and some do if the product doesn't. This narrows me down a bit in terms of where to shop, but I once again haven't been let down once I dialed into how the market works. As far as faked terp percentages, that's something I haven't encountered. Although, I know for a damn fact Sanctuary Medicinals, which happens to have a few stores in my state does. They fake their THC, their terps and most of their bud is moldy. I developed a severe fungal chest infection from their shit in the past.
That's the dogshit I'd been smoking on before I learned better (friend had worked at said store and at least reported they faked THC levels often). I trust absolutely nothing coming from them, but that's just some shitty MSO bud/company. I can only guess they'd fake their terpene numbers because their shit hardly ever had any smell. The competition is the site that does post them, so this was their attempt at leveling up I guess. Yet, still pricing 8ths at $35, top shelf level prices for stuff where I'd rather smoke 2010 street mids. HELL NO
