is it just me or is coffee euphoria strikingly similar to LSD excitation...? ;-)

Lol, well.......you want a prize for a lack of understanding..?
Or shall we call the men to chase me around with nets....the padded room they claim as my home...8):!%)

Its a vague tangent..but I wanted some feedback on it. Apparently no one can relate lol, so be it.

Caffeine can cause some dissociation (I mean derealization/depersonalization, not the NMDA antagonist type) in people, sort of a subset of anxiogenic effects I guess. Taken with the euphoric (been quite a while since I had caffeine euphoria, ha) effect, I can see why thoughtsunthought makes the comparison.

Ha, euphoria is a funny word to use for it....lol, you can tell I'm a caffeine addict. Nothing quite warms me up like that Joe, gets me all warm and fuzzy inside :-)

Vader, it's always nice to have a taste for what you'll be giving those poor animals, especially if it's recreational :D How much coffee are you drinking, OP? LSD is quite a bit more potent than coffee, but it alters cell energy function and perhaps glutamate signaling via DA changes, so it's possible the "clarity" is similar to LSD

Not so much now, couple cups a day.....I used to be an insomnic though, drinking 2-3 pots a day....20-30 cups lol...but wasn't sleeping much,so my day had a good 33% more time in it than a sleeper lol. More time for drankinthat bean!! :-)

I'd like to heart more of the neuro-science you are referring toAmu...I certainly do have a clarity effect from it....
