Citing things is a meaningless and empty ritual when youre discussing concepts that are outside the framework which requires citations. You can choose to ignore me instead

. I just did a quick google search, and found 2 blogposts describing two completely different mechanisms for how "caffeine works in the body." Both were woefully incomplete, and also maintained a tone which implies lack of compound damage to the body. I could also put random links in here agreeing with me, but it would be pretty pointless anyway. Im not saying Im against quoting sources, but I am against blindly following rituals and deceiving myself into agreeing with fundamentalists (tossing around links to "studies" is no different than quoting bible verses, imo).
No "citation" is going to demonstrate a quantifiable loss of vitality! You just gotta get onboard with a holistic lifestyle and feel it for yourself. Its a very tune in, turn on, and drop out sort of thing.
Or just take mind and physiology altering drugs every day lol.
Anyways, mint tea is one of my favorite stimulating beverages. Rebooting with a solid detox helps too. Tapering off helps, as with most drugs. Slowly switching over to caffeinated teas, until you can switch to non caffeinated teas helps too.
Im also not a fan of raw cacao as a frequent dietary additive for the same reasons, its stimulants have an extremely long half life, and its often marketed as a "health product". Its a freaking drug with lots of antioxidants and some easily assimilable proteins.
sounds suspiciously like some data conjured up by a few corporate entities that need to preserve their gazillion dollar industry

. im sure the data is real, and im sure the study was "legit" (in that extremely limited, corporate funded, western pseudo-science kind of way). but why use some substance that slowly squeezes the essence of life out of you, for one single beneficial "health" side effect it might have a chance of having? why not just live a healthy lifestyle overall, and ditch coffee?
heroin will likely extend your life by 10 years, as long as you dont overdose and get clean drugs and always use clean needles. its wonderful for your heart and stress levels. stress is one of the biggest killers in the world, and chronic stress kills way more people than dope. that doesnt mean heroin is a healthy choice!!
just choose a health centered framework for life. take care of your heart, and your other organs, with real nourishment.
