Well like I said, someone whose just dealing shitty pipes prob isn't worth going to the cops over either.

And as Kingpin stated, someone dealing with shit will lose their customers anyway. Best thing you can do is just steer clear of him and let him dig his own grave by dealing shit stuff.

I suspect there is a lot of bravado in this thread. I mean, what if you had been arrested and had a bullshit dog of a dealer in your phone?

I mean, say you have a dealer who has frequently ripped you and your friends off, selling drugs which they knew were shit and refusing to give refunds. Then you get arrested for some reason, and the cops offer you a lesser charge if you dob the guy in (with your lawyer present, since you would never be stupid enough to say a single word to the police without a lawyer). I suspect most people would dob them in. Being arrested and charged is scary shit, and ultimately do you owe this dodgy dealer anything?

It's very easy to be all tough and say that you're all in the drug game together and that you should never dob anyone in, but I think that's bullshit. You're not in anything together. They are a drug dealer and you are a customer, and that's it. Do you owe anything to Coles or BP? Particularly if they regularly sell you shit and rip you off?

I don't think it's okay to just ring up the cops and dob a dealer in because you don't like them. But if you're sitting in a room with a couple of cops (and your lawyer) and you can get a lesser charge by dobbing in a dodgy cunt who's selling shit and treating their customers like shit then I doubt many people would say no.

Another situation could involve innocent people who are rounded up by those with coercive powers, whereby the person/s liberty is then threatened if they're non compliant. It may be that they know someone, or have a relative who's involved in something the big boys are chasing. What does that person then do when faced with either telling all or or getting a [mandatory?] prison sentence. Might sound extreme and rather rare but I believe similar things have happened on more than one occasion in relation to drugs.

This is what I mean about the worth of this thread. Every situation is different and everyone has their own thoughts on what's acceptable and what's not. Yet who knows how many of these same people would react differently under enough pressure.

Easiest way around it all

PM if there's something worthwhile to add and I'll reopen this thread.
