is it biologically possible for a son to have a far bigger than his dad?

my boyfriend's son stays on weekends and his penis is much much much bigger than his dad's penis.
he's also a bit taller, but only a inch taller so hardly different in that way.
is that big penis possible or does it mean he's secretly not my boyfriend's biological son?
his wife cheated on him and that's why they divorced so its possible that she might have cheated many years ago too?

well the difference is so big that i did not need to measure the size of his son's its just way bigger.
plus it might sound rude to ask the size/measure it.

if it was indeed impossible we'd likely be seeing a gradual decrease of the average dick size in humans

Something like penis size is polygenetic in inheritance. Add that to recombinant DNA, and it's very possible for genital size and appearance to vary from generation to generation.

For example, most of the people in my family are short. In fact, up until the latest generation, I was the tallest woman in my family by a good bit, and I'm 5'5.5" tall.

Every generation, a tall person or two shows up, as do a few redheads. Both go back to a great-a few times over grandfather who was known as Shimon the Red, who was over 6' tall and had red hair. My sister is blonde. Her ex-husband was dark. They had one dark child, and one redhead

I have no idea about genital size as the last time I've seen those were when they were infants and I got roped into a few diaper changes.

for sure its really hard to study penises because hardly anyone ever witnesses them or measures them.
i just got lucky to see both instead of just my boyfriend's penis.

If it wasn't possible wouldn't that mean that guy's dicks would be forever getting smaller over time or everyone would have the same sized dick. Ah the 'Smith's' great bunch of people - all have 7.5" dick, since forever.
 
To add to the confusion, size flaccid doesn't always have much to do with size erect. In fact, men who are very large flaccid sometimes have trouble maintaining a good, hard erection.

well his son's penis has been poking out the shorts leg opening, they are crazy soft shorts and his penis is pointed out, it raises the shorts opening. sometimes its pointing way up and lifting the opening and other times it points like across. i think its always staying inside his shorts when its flaccid, so i only see it when its hard. puberty makes them hard a lot.
 
It seems this happens quite a lot. I wonder if you might be spending too much time thinking about your boyfriends son's cock. He sounds young with your talk of puberty. I think he should probably be allowed to experience all of that without a grown woman judging his penis.
