Is it a myth that some drugs make you look more beautiful?

I mean, lots of drugs have a side effect of weightloss, but that's not what I mean, and smoking joints gives you yellow teeth and IVing gives you trackmarks, which is also not what i mean. I mean, is it a myth that some drugs make your face look different to normal & more beautiful?

Basically, my friend, who's obsessed with weed and everything weed related, is convinced that weed in particular makes everyone look more beautiful. she says this is because it 'relaxes all your hidden face muscles' which somehow makes you look prettier, and also it dilates your pupils and makes you paler (not sure about that one), which adds to the effect. Because of this, all her facebook pictures etc are of her stoned, to the point where she gets purposefully blazed before getting her new passport photo taken as she wants to look her best. She says 'weed is her makeup'. To be honest, i never notice her looking any different when she's stoned, but i'm stoned too so maybe i'm just unobservant. She looks prettier now than she did when she started smoking 3 years ago, but that's just cos she's put on weight (she was a scary skeleton face before).

I'm a huge fan like her, but of meph and MDMA rather than weed, and i gotta admit i've noticed i look prettier when im speeding, like, my eyes seem bigger, my lips are redder (cos i've gone pale, and i've been chewing them), my skin seems smoother & more 'dewy' (maybe cos I'm sweating like a muthabitch XD) and dark circles under my eyes seem less dark... but maybe that's just cos i'm wasted as fuck & seeing things. i know i've lost a fuckload of weight since i first tried MDMA type stuff, which always helps your face look prettier, but i think there might be more to it than that. Or maybe it's all in my drug filled head.

Anyway, what do you think? Is this a myth or not? xxx

Some drugs may make you feel sexier, but making you actually look sexier is a different story
 
I can tell you froma guys perspective atleast that smoking dope doesn't make you better looking. Unless you think glazed eyes and a dopier look is sexy but in my experience most quality women don't.
 
^ I agree, but remember "Heroin chic"? Where they made the models look like they were trashed, lol.

I don't think it's a myth, you can lose a lot of water retention from diuretic drugs like speed and this may make you look better or worse for a couple of hours. I wouldn't advise it as long term you will look worse, weed is probably the exception because it has almost no negative effects on the body.
 
As a guy who used to smoke cigarettes (I don't anymore) smoking a cigarette makes you look sexy. It doesn't actually make your face physically change or anything. Its just hot, but probably only people who smoke think it is.
 
You look infinitely better off drugs than on. To someone who is sober, and not under the influence of anything whatsoever, people who are fucked up on anything other than weed or alcohol usually end up looking pretty ridiculous. When I was still deluded and massive fucked up on my former IV heroin habit, I used to think I looked pretty good. Looking back at some of the pictures from that time, I look fucking disgusting! I was all pale/alternatively sallowish looking, from behind blank, lifeless eyes on a face with nastily sunken-in cheekbones. I looked like an emaciated war refugee from some third-world shithole. I will admit though, for some reason, heroin DOES keep you from getting sick (as in actual colds like the flu, etc.) and keeps your skin looking really healthy (no blemishes or pimples really for some reason, probably all of the water retention).
 
what your talking about is a myth, but stimulants can help someone loose weight, anabolic steroids can get you ripped and sterotypically "manly" looking in faster/easier manner then going natural, botox can help reduce effects of age. In addition I find the blow pupils from stimulants or MDXX to be very pretty on a girl, but thats pretty subjective and temporary side effect that only lasts the duration of the drug.
 
As a general rule, the more you abuse drugs (especially hard drugs) the worse you look.

That's been my experience, at least. :(
 
^^yeah, i get wonderfull beautifull auras from nice people, neutral bland auras from others, and people i don't like send off bad vibes, auras, often dark colors...

Also i get this thing, when someone is sayiing something nice to me i can see it in colors coming out of their mouth... amazing!
 
Actually when you consider pizeoelectricity ("the ability of some materials (notably crystals and certain ceramics, including bone) to generate an electric potential") and the human skeleton, it would make sense for one's bones to be producing an aura =D. IMHO anyway
