Is ice as bad as the media say?

Ice is a very powerful drug and can be very dangerous because of the length of time it affects the user. I have used this drug off and on and would not recommend taking it up if you have not tried it. Its better that way.

Ice is a grneric term for crystal methamphetamine but there are longer lasting, less euphoric and more addictive forms like 4MAR (methaminorex) which is sold as ice. Its impossible to tell one from the other at street level really without a marquis testing kit.

People of my generation have been caught up in ice as when we were all out just occasionally using speed as a party drug it quite rapidly got replaced by meth/ice around 2004 and these days where I live good ol speed does not exist.

People using it need to know the best way to use it if they are going to use it at all to not let it take over. That rule of thumb applies to all drugs tbh.

The continual topping up to avoid the crash and the sleep deprivation can cause irritability and binges that are too long can cause aggresseion and an altered state of conciouness.

I recommend one hit timed on days where there is nothing planned and some decent beer. Stims and alcohol are good together :)

Also just be prepared for the come down. Its rough if you dont have a decent nip of alcohol and a small dose of diazepam to get sleep.

Theres other ways to ride out the comedown without benzos. Any calmative like mersyndol is good.

Seroquel is very good to quickly knock a bender on the head.

i've never touched crystal and i can tell ya it's a nightmare of a drug.

even oral meth (like tainted E pills) will have ur noggin spinnin. i can't imagine blowin clouds of pure. it must be insane.

breaking bad. not even once

Yeah you are right Adderall is half meth ampethamine and hald dex amp.

However meth is usually made whether in a lab or soda bottle and it is a rather potent drug capable of inducing psychosis.

no actual d-methamphetamine is a presecription drug, Desoxyn. wasn't referring to regular amphetamine.

I would steer clear of it as well, I'm a daily user myself and I'll attest it can get out of hand quickly. One day your a social party goer and the next your an every day habitual user. It will run your life in the dirt if your not careful. I started off a weekend warrior, but soon I started the "just one more day" agenda. Next thing I'm using every day, and then addiction began. These days I don't even smoke to get high, it's more for a feeling of normalcy. Been a daily user for over a year straight now and it's lost all its fun and now it's a job. Wake up, want my bowl, ride to work, want my bowl and so on. I can't attest to the bad look and no teeth though, because I actually have extremely good hygiene. Shave, shower, brush my teeth regularly, you get the point. In fact if one didn't know anything about the drug you wouldn't know I'm a daily. Out of a year I might go a week's worth of time without it and you can tell when I go without, lazy, lackluster, extremely hungry and sore all over. But I learned to live for now. Support a family, work a decent job and even active in outdoor life. I'm not glorifying this drug at all, but not all look like you see on TV. But in the end it rules you. Your no longer the boss, the dope is. Keep away if you can, if not then at least seek advice on how to use properly. Stay safe and happy highs

I've always thought of meth as being that one drug that deserves every bit of its "Not Even Once" anti-drug propaganda commercials that air in the US.

Having never tried it, coming into contact with meth addicts in public and reading story after story of intense addiction on the Internet, I'm so glad I never tried it and subsequently risked getting addicted to it. It's simply too euphoric as a recreational drug, and often causes intense psychological addiction starting from the first time ever using it. I believe there are levels of euphoria humans were never "meant" to experience, and once you open that can of worms and experience it even once, it can make everything else seem dull in comparison and trying it again will always be in the back of your mind. Even people who absolutely hate stimulants can easily become heavily addicted to meth because it's simply that reinforcing.

Steer clear of the meth

Used to fuck around with ice a lot but my boyfriend who is a full blown meth addict started beating me because of it...he would get really paranoid and take it out on me. He's a violent meth head and I often found myself in the way.

As an individual who has personally spent years ping ponging between meth and heroin addiction- I can honestly say seroquel is the worst of them all...
