is heroin really THAT good?

Never IV'd anything but I just can't see IV H giving a stronger rush then pure MDMA IV'd. H may be a better experience but if you were to shoot up some straight from the lab domestic MDMA shards I'd imagine most if not all people wouldn't be able to handle it, it most definatly probably wouldn't be that enjoyable. Pure MDMA has one of the smoothest most clean feeling rushes ever. Sometimes I feel like I'm not on a drug, I'm just "enhanced".

Anyways I've never used H but did have a long running love affair with OC and yes the euphoria was great, excatly what I was looking for at the time. I also remeber feeling like, "Hell this is like E without all the nastiness of the comedown" Of course I had to fuck it up and becoming physically addicted to it... ahh well live and learn

I'm not big into downers but my girlfriend is bringing me $50 worth of smack tomarrow night.
Prom night.
I have a 20 of coke.
A 20 of Speed.
And now the heroin.
Should be interesting whichever I choose to do
 
I cant see how people would think that semi-synthetic opiates are not going to be enjoyable. I mean obviously they are not going to cause the same degree of euphoria as crack-cocaine but that is not to automatically imply that they are 2nd rate drugs.
 
i cant think of a better feeling than a good shot of heroin. i just relapsed after 2 months away from it.

and yes it really sucks knowing how good it feels, cuz you just keep coming back, like a slave.
 
its really fucking good, but i like amphetamines and coke even more. the jokes on u when u have to do it just to feel normal.
 
As obvious by everyone's reponses, the amount of pleasure you get from heroin is highly dependant on what kind of person you are. Some people couldn't be happier while skagged out, and others find heroin to be straight up boring.

Personally, i'm somewhere inbetween. It's a pleasurable, albiet vapid experience. I couldn't imagine ever being addicted to it, but know the occasional joys of relaxing in a hard nod.

Right, hence the reason I said the H experience would probably be better, but the rush wouldn't be as intense.

This sounds amazing. The only opiate feeling I know is mixing 5-7.5 mg hydro with pot, and this adds a sweet, blissful layer onto the pot high. How great is the risk to trying the real thing? Do most recreational users eventually develop a habit? My gut instinct is not to fuck with it, that I'd like it too much.

And, aside from the initial rush, is the rest of the high significantly better with injected dope as opposed to snorted? How long does the high last?

Finally...if anyone's still with me...can you continue to experience the good high down the road, assuming you don't have a habit? Or are the first times always the best? Thanx... :)
 
It really is pretty incredible feeling, I would recommend it to everyone if I could do so with a clean conscience.

If you fuck with it, just don't get strung. It's a real good cure for boredom. Too good.

Do you think that it could possibly cause permanent damage to the brain's reward center, and that's why people tend to keep coming back to it? I.e, after doing it a certain # of times, you won't be able to feel even a normal good feeling anymore without it?

Yes. it DOES, to an extent, re-program the rewards sysytem tot rhe brain.....wich js often why ex-heroin addicrs well NEVSR feel he same sence of conentness thast they one felt over certain things lin klike that er normally supposed to bring you joy, now you fel joy, but it's noth thast same JOY you experience when yiou do yu're first shot of the day!!!!!! I duunno, I have an interesting srtilcle from the NE Journal of ZMedicine thav explains thius better that me, who is 8mgs of clozapam and 12 beeers deeeep////////////// 8(
 
i am a new found lover of lady H. i have only been using it for about 4 months now and i hate to say it but i love it. the all around good feeling that it gives you.
 
Ive tried it, and loved it. But, I doubt Ill do it again. Something THAT amazing and loving that isnt quite as...tangible as a friend or car...kind of scares me. I think the movie "Trainspotting" depicts heroin a lot.
 
thing i opiods or drugs in general NEVER disappoint, they are always reliable, and usually always very easy to find...prblem is, when something is this rewarding, everything else will pale in comparison, so life will be boring without it....factor in the marked reduction in "feel good "chemicals after long term use and u have a problem that doesnt have a good solution......
 
Well, I'd love to give my comments on this topic, but I am unable. I have tried most opiates (Hydromorphone, Hydrocodone, Tramadol, Oxycodone, morphine, the list goes on), but I could never find H. I think the reason for this is because most of my connections see heroin as this evil substance and they stay far away from it. These, mind you, are the same people who I have gotten dilaudid and Fentanyl from. Every time I ask for H, they are like "oh no, I dont mess with that shit!" Was it like this for you guys as well?
 
OLMARTEEE, it was not like that for me at all... most opioid dealers will even give you free bumps (or offer the more potent of substances, H), especially if you've never tried it ;)
