is heroin and Oxy really that similar?

pretty much all opiates break down into the same intoxicating substance. the thing is, oxycontin, when metabolized, produces less parts morphine in your body. It is basically the same shit as heroin when it gets broken down, but less potent. It's all a matter of how much you take. I'm sure you'll find the highs are very similar.
 
No, oxycodone turns to oxymorphone, heroin turns into morphine. I also have used both heroin and oxycodone and I personally think heroin blows. I have gotten really good shit, I just think its a boring drug. I have banged it as well and was not at all impressed. I was getting the dope in Newark as well, I did nod off it, I still prefer oxycodone, shit I prefer hydrocodone to heroin. Apples and oranges though.
 
eating oc is compariable to snorting dope to me, except you know waht to feel cus u know whats in it for sure. unlike h where u could be gettign ripped off, or impurites, but h is cheaper for me. I guess it all depends.. i like them both
 
oxycodone is a derivative of thebane, a stimulative opiate. that is why it is much less sedating. some of it is metabolized into oxymorphone in the body, but not all of it.

heroin is broken down into morphine after a couple hours. sucks that heroin is so potent compared to morphine, so you build a tolerance real fuckin quick when you're usin the stuff often.

the highs? not alike at all. but to each his own. too much heroin and i'd go puke, but feel fine for the rest of the night. too much oxy, on the other hand, i'd be fucking miserable for the rest of the night, puking my guts out and feeling like shit. heroin is soooo much more enjoyable for sooo many reasons, the only downside is how sedating it is.
 
Here where I live oxy doesn't cost much and latley I've been seeing it often for various prices all which compared to your prices (insane) seem really cheap. Anyways around here it goes $3.00 a 20mg or in some places you can get it $6 for an 80mg. Yeah so I have 24 hour access to it at $3.00 per 20mg what do you say to that..however I haven't done it in a month now. I don't like to get strung out on it, though a small dose feels nice anytime (10mg is nice..) but anyways I find it better to stay off it there I said it.

Pff. To that I say, I'm gonna come to where you live, inform all these 'tards who throw away OC that you can get $40 for 80mg and then charge them $10 for each pill they sell and get rich. The key is, btw, to get ALL the dealers to jack up at the same time. $6 a pill is stupid. I don't know what podunk suburb of Ontario you live in but I refuse to believe those are the prices downtown.

Anyway, I think Oxy sucks. I used to like it then tried Heroin and saw the light. I can now afford the habit. And as has already been said, when you get good dope (here its called 'top-shelf') it's all good.
