is green tea really that good for you?

^^nice =)
My friends homemade recipe for matcha latte and im sharing it here :
Ingredients
1 cup non-fat dried milk
3/4 quarts hot water
1/4-1/3 cup sugar (do a taste test)
1 tbsp matcha powder
splash of half & half to thicken it

Method
Blend all ingredients thoroughly, than pour into a huge jug or coleman. I tried just stirring it but it doesn't quite blend the matcha powder. The blending process does the trick of infusing all the flavors nicely.

Not sure if thats too much sugar or not and I havent tried it but according to my friends who have its quite excellent=D Adjust accordingly . If it was up to me I'd use a splash of creamy pure MILK to thicken it .....but thats me. She also made it hot but added vanilla or green tea ice cream to it when she wanted it cold. (Yes....we have green tea ice cream! ) Macha was from Japan .

Now maybe I'm no tea purist, but I love that big can of thickened Arizona green tea drink that costs a dollar in America. Good times! At least it has all natural ingredients.

And, speaking of liquor, or rather, liqueur:

I just bought some of this stuff at Bevmo, it's really tasty! Mix it 50/50 with club soda and some ice, and it's a tasty little drink. I'm still trying to figure out what else is good mixed with it.

That looks good, and I also wish I had that Sencha instead of my Lipton.

I do have loose gunpowder and leaf tea, but it's too messy because I live in a dorm, using the infuser and crap... or maybe I'm just lazy.

Either way, if it has health benefits over taking a multivitamin, great. If not, it tastes good and has less caffeine, which is good for me too.

I've only been drinking green tea for about two years, but I'm hooked on the stuff. I had to give up regular tea because it was upsetting my stomach, due to the ridiculous amounts I consumed. I had tried green tea years ago and it tasted like freshly cut lawn grass. This time around, however, I took to it right away. Some of the major tea brand green tea on supermarket shelves is really disgusting... and not at all green.

Any1 have a recipe for Starbuck's Tazo Green Tea Frappuccino or something similar? i wanna try it myself using less sugar.
