Is ethylphenidate basically the same everywhere or are there different types?

I have been confused with reports saying it is alright and others saying it brings on anxiety. I tried some and the come up was very strong and jittery (on just 35mg) and I felt on the verge of panic attack on the comeup but it settled down and I just felt stimulated. The second time I tried a week later about half the amount and this time I tried it with some beer which helped and an hour later I was having problems breathing and shaking like mad (anxiety symptoms basically). I think this was due to the beer actually giving it some euphoric effect and the anxiousness came when the beer wore off (the previous time I just felt stimulated and anxious for 12 hours or so but didn't really have a come down as there was no euphoria associated with it).

I'm not the best at explaining this but I'm just wondering if Ethylphenidate is always this shitty or I just had the wrong version of it. The strange thing is that although it had all these nervousness symptoms and tight chest etc it didn't seem to have any increased blood pressure or heart beat sypmtoms (remember my doses were quite low). My version was white clearish crystals that I crushed into white powder.

On the other hand I also had some synthacaine and it was extremely nice and mellow and I think similar to some coke I've had (I tried 20mg only). Is this the same everywhere or is dependent on vendor? I bought these suposedly from one of the top UK vendors (belonging to some self regulating groupi can't remember the name of now). I am probably quite sensitive to stimulants as I don't really like coffee as it makes me jittery.

there are some different kinds of ethylphenidate, i think the d enantiomer and i guess the racemic mixture. I don't really know the difference as i haven't tried both and the chemistry is a bit over my head but someone else can probably add something.

I hear the d enantiomer of ethylphenidate is much more smooth and less anxiogenic but haven't had confirmation of this. Would it be the same as dexedrine vs adderall? If so i may have to order some.
