Is drug use worth it?

Uh... na, not really. I would most definetely of been better off without drugs in my life.

Though I don't regret it :)

I'd have to say that the hallucinogens are definitely worth it.
Cannabis is sort of worth it although it sometimes feels a bit like I'm just wasting money.
Alcohol is one of those things that seem like they're worth it until you wake up the next morning..
And then there's the nicotine, can't say that I think it's worth it, but it's not that big of a hassle for me.

Hallucinogens yes, Mushrooms cured my depression. For that I LOVE them. Drugs take me to places I've never imagined before. So I say it is.

no, I don't think they are.

That said If I had the choice to pop those first few vics again, if I could undue all my past use, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

It's not worth it for me anymore i don't think. At least not very often.... The highs from drugs can never be replaced leaving you feeling never as good as you did when you were using.

It is worthwhile. However, if you knew the amount of shit I have had to go through to make it happen then you would have thought otherwise. Society just has such a naive view towards mind-altering compounds. Too many psychologists, not enough chemists..

Worth every penny and more. If i had the choice to do it again I would only change the fact I used to take 6 pills in a night when really it is a waste of cash after 3-4. I could have saved enough for a new motorbike by now. Oh and my blonde hair and goatee I had for a while which i blame on drugs. Told you drugs can be bad for you.

To me it's definitely worth it. I just keep it limited to drinking (parties only), pot and psychedelics. Everything I gain from psychedelic experiences and just chilling out after a long day with smoe friends smoking pot is great.

It is worth it, if you are responsible. This is more directed to teens without a job...Like myself :P. If you are 14-17 and the only real money you make is getting your allowance and each time you get it you go to your dealer and go blow it all on drugs. That is just stupid. If you want to get high, then get high. Don't fuck yourself into the ground for that high. The drugs that i have used caused no pain at all, so it was worth it. Most of the time i didn't have to pay...So the high is definetly worth it if you use drugs wisely.

A

im sorry but im a big fat

DRUGS ARE WORTH IT!!

Like it was said before if it wasn't i wouldnt do it.

and GODDAMN do i feel good right now =D
THAT makes it worthwhile

Depends on the substance and the experience.Looking at it from my personal philosophy,"we are the sum of ALL of our experiences,"then the answer has to be one hundred percent yes.Still I would be lying if I claimed to have no regrets.i certainly regret the amount of money I have spent in close to three decades of heroin addiction but that can be rationalized away by blaming prohibition. To sum it up:I regret the amount of money but not the many experiences[good as well as bad]that I have accumulated with my substance use.

The only drugs that i'v found to really be 'worth it' was ecstacy and alcohol. I would have said buds in the past, but no longer.

It used to be worth it but eventually all these physically addicting drugs that you end up needing to take in order not to become sick...it ain't worth it no more. I'm talking about opioids and benzodiazepines

But I ain't saying that all drug aren't worth using. Ketamine and PCP have a sense of beauty and I grab whatever insight I can out of them. I don't need to play the 'ATM drive-thru all night thang' with these drugs. I always remember the experiences, unlike a hit of heroin that I'm shivering for. Those two drugs are deffinitly worth the little money I have to pay for them.

With every drug that I tried, the first few times that I used them, addicting or not, it was always worth it. It was something new and something fun.

And when I come to think about it, my *current* drug use is worth it. I love to experiment with new drugs, different ways to use them, and learning about them. I love the drugs that I am currently using except for the benzos and methadone to keep me clean. I have been able to ignore that more these days because I have been practicing moderation. But like I said, I'm always up for something new...

All in all I think it's been worth it. Course I haven't done much of the drugs everyone is bashing, opioids and stimulants.

I am a much better, happier person since I integrated weed into my life.

Mushrooms and acid have been take or leave - great experiences but not that much lasting impact and they take longer to recover from.

All in all I wish I spent less time in college smoking weed and more time going out and being involved in relationships. But then again, that's related to the issues that were helped by the drugs.
