is buprenorphine and temegisic the same thing?

i am going to get some buprenx to get off methadone. im not going to start the bup until im on 10 mgs of methadone or until the withdrawls start from the methadone. is buprenorphine and temegisic the same thing?
 
Yes. Here in Sweden, Temgesic come both as 0.2mg and 0.4mg pills. Crush and snort. Also available as Subutex as 0.4mg, 2mg and 8mg pills. Temgesic 0.4mg and Subutex 8mg are the ones which are most common. The active ingredient is buprenorphine in all cases. Subutex is prescribed (at least in this country) as a medication for helping heroin addicts to get rid of their addiction.
 
No problems, let me know if you need more information. One thing which might be important is that buprenorphine counteracts the effects of "normal" morphine (for example heroin). In other words, it's a waste of money to mix buprenorphine and heroin. I'm not sure if buprenorphine also counteracts methadone, but I think so.
Anyway, the counteracting thing is pretty good. It'll keep you away from heroin and still help out if you're having withdrawls. Buprenorphine is also MUCH less addictive than methadone and heroin.
 
I was not a fan of the agonist/antagonist that ive tried (butorphanol and talwin), but I've heard that buprenorphine is somewhat enjoyable. Those dissolving tablets would probably be pretty good for injecting....
 
Buprenorphine is quite enjoyable, unlikemost mixed agonist/antagonist. the active chem is buprenorphine freebase so it's nit water soluble. Injection using white distilled vinegar to dissolve it with is very recreational. Nice rush.
If you take it as directed, subligually, try dipping your finger in a box of baking soda and then rubbing the soda under your tongue where the pill is gonna dissolve. The soda acts as a mild abrasive which will cut into your skin making for a quicker absorbtion and faster onset.

Rubbing baking soda onto your mouth where you are going to dissolve the tablet does not cut your skin, it converts the drug into a freebase so it may pass the blood brain barrier eaisly.
 
thanx for all the info. i have a guy that has the injectable version for 6 bucks an amp. is this reasonable? also, 120 bucks for 100 sublingual temegesic tablets.

Temgeic brand burprenorphine, like all of the sublingual brands, are buprenorpnine freebase.
