Is black tar better than the brown powder heroin

I used to buy black tar. Now i'm living in another state and all i can find is this light brownish powder. I don't get nearly as high as tar. What the hell am i buying??? It couldn't be china white because it's light brown right???
 
Could be anything. There's no way for us to know without a proper test done on it. Though most likely your gear is just more cut than the gear you used to be getting.

Closing the thread since it's just going to be speculation.
