in boston they call being high on opiates ...H/OXYS ECT. BEING "JAMMED" THEY EVEN GO AS FAR AS CALLING OXY'S "JAM'S"

EXAMPLE : "I SCORED SOME JAMS LAST NIGHT DUDE I SHOT 2 I WAS ....JAMMED KID! FAHKIN JAM SANDWICH "LOL

IS THIS A LOCAL THING? A NEW ENGLAND THING? EAST COAST? OR EVERYWHERE? ALSO WHERE DOES THIS EXPRESSION COME FROM? WHY DO THEY SAY IT ? I NEVER REALLY TRAVEL SO IM INTERESTED TO KNOW....

In my area gettin jammed has to do with the police arresting your ass. like so and so got jammed up.

my friends and I always called being slightly high to where you wanna clean "juiced" and then really good dope we describe as "putting your dick in the dirt". other than that we always knew what we were talking about if we asked the others if they were "high" or not.

its just a saying. have you ever had the standing up nod? where your knee's kind of keep buckling but you wake up before you hit the floor. maybe thats where it came from. it just means being really fucked up.
