The Olympics never excited or interested me in the slightest to begin with.

I don't watch television and I don't read the sports section of the newspaper so it doesn't really affect me.

I can't believe Iraq is being banned from the Olympics. If we're going to take the 'ethical highground' in terms of who we allow in the events maybe we shouldn't be hosting it in China for christsakes. On the other hand if this is actually some sort of 'security protocol' maybe it's understandable. maybe but probably not.

Yes, the technology is truly amazing. They moved the entire birds nest into a sears portrait studio for the nice blue sky backdrop... or did they just photoshop it.

The Olympics rules, china sucks. I will watch for American Gold medals and Chinese atrocities.

The pommel horse (appropriately named) is a surefire winner for humiliation or minor injury. The vault and the balance beam are also favourites of mine. Extra laughs are had when somebody - quite obviously - crushes their genitalia in some manner.

i'm also a fan of women's floor exercise when they bounce around and do flips. i've seen many girls not land properly, and by not doing so, they either land on their faces or break their ankles.

i should probably get help for this, but the olympics only happens every few years, and gymnastics is only on during the summer.
