In Memphis when I was living there until a while ago, most street dealers sold crack and heroin, normally one sold crack and maybe weed, and heroin dealers sold only heroin, but if you knew the guys selling well enough they would get you some good ass blow, and I met a few "bigger dealers" that had only blow, they sent the coke to other place for the dealers to make crack at..lol..better to be caught with a bunch of coke than 1/10 the amount of crack or less , they bust your ass harder for crack still, even though it's not a 50-1 ratio like it used to be (50 grams of coke=same jail time as 5 grams of crack) ,now it;s 17-1 or maybe 20-1 ratio, so 17 or 20 grams of coke = same as 1 gram of crack in jail time,,So I think know it takes 10 or so grams of crack to = the jail time of 50 grams of coke, although the exact amount I dunno..lol..Dumbass cops and laws passed by Reagan in the 80's, like you 5 grams of crack was a 5 year mandatory, and you had to have 50 grams of coke to= 5 year mandatory, federal time I think..anyway WTF where they thinking, lol,,5 grams of crack is only 5 grams no matter how you look at it, but with just 20 grams of powder, well below the 50 gram coke mark, you can make 20+ grams of crack depending on how much it's cut ,etc..you cannot make crack without having coke powder first!! lol,,,godamn government is so stupid and racist, the rich people could have themselves an ounce of coke and not get in a fraction of the trouble ,if they even had to do anything besides hire a high priced lawyer and pay some fines and get probation or pay off a judge or whatver than a person with 5 grams of crack, and I know of people that smoked 5 grams in a day, not even selling it, lol,,but a damn ounce of coke would make for a lotta damn crack rocks...
