for me its an upper

Just because you get energy doesn't make it a stimulant. It is a CNS depressant no matter...
I'm going to shift this to Drug Culture to see what they would like to do with this...
Alcohol is a downer... a CNS depressant.
It may feel like an "upper" to you, but chemically it ain't.
chemically it is a depressant. there is no such thing as being chemicaly a downer.
upper/downer do not have scientifical definitions.
upper doesnt always meen stimulant ,downer doesnt always meen depressant....upper/downer do not have definitions, they are more of opinions
i don't like how someone told me alcohol was NOT an upper. upper/downer are terms that the user decides.
It is really simple, so see if you can follow along. Uppers are stimulants and downers are depressants. It does not matter whether you like it or not, and it is not what the individual decides the term to be. If you think it stimulates you, fine and dandy, but if you ask whether it is an upper or downer, AS YOU DID, then the answer is DOWNER.

Folks, alcohol is a depressant, plain and simple. It does not possess the ability to stimulate the CNS. No matter how much you think alcohol stimulates you, your Central Nervous System is going to be depressed, because alcohol is a DEPRESSANT! Under alcohols influence you may think your stimulated, but it just ain't so.
