Is a tester kit going to help all that much?

Hey well I purchased a tester kit and I was thinking obviously it only goes one colour and tells you whats in it. so does it go purple if the majority of the ingredients are MDMA or just if its there?

just wondering how much safer it makes taking it.
 
YES it is going to help.

While it does not tell you if it is 100% pure, a lot of molly in the USA does not have ANY MDMA at all. It could be methylone, amphetamines, other bath salts, or just sugar or caffeine or any combination of these.

So yes, it is definitely worth using.

So will it show the majority of the ingredients or will MDMA over ride any other indication of other chems?
 
If there is say a methamphetamine cut, the reaction will flash orange and turn to a brownish black instead of a purplish black.

The marquis reagent is quite sensitive and is great at identifying multiple substances in a sample, if you have any reactions you suspect are adulterated but are unsure of, feel free to post pictures here (but in the Pill Testing FAQ section, not here in ED)

^ Sorry, I should have gotten back to you earlier.. but yeah, that's the one. It's in the Pillreport Q&A section, and it's what I use as my reference guide for reactions. Great thread overall!


Not ALL of the reactions are what they should be though, in the world of RCs many substances get adulterated :\ Most of it is spot on though, a good 80%+ of the reactions there have been confirmed.
