Is 70mg Diazepam and 30mg Oxycodone Safe?

I just got back from a bad date in the city. I took 70mg of diazepam to relieve the nervous I would have on the date. (I had never met this girl in-person before today.) Anyway, the date was a disaster, boring conversation, no chemistry yada yada. So now I'm feeling a bit down and want to get high of 30mg of oxy to alleviate my feelings of worthlessness. Is it safe to consume my 30mg of oxy AFTER having taken the 70mg of Valium OVER 4 hours ago?

30 mg of oxy is my usual dose. And I do have a bit of tolerance to benzos.
 
But the valium isn't really affecting me this moment. I feel a little tired, but that's about it. So how much longer should I wait before taking the oxy? Wanna get high now, feel like shit.
 
Doesn't matter if you can or can't feel the valium. or if even if you have a high tolerance. You still took a lot of valium , too much to risk mixing with opiates. Especially strong ones.

It's a big gamble.

I wouldn't. Personally i'd snort a tiny tiny bit of K in that situation.

Shit happens. And it makes you a stronger / better person. So it's good when it does, in a way. It wont hurt you forever, move on ASAP.
 
You may not be able to feel it but it still depresses your breathing. Unless you wanna stop breathing dont touch the opiates for another 12 hours AT LEAST.
 
Well I've been chain-smoking and drinking coffee after coffee to hasten the elimination of diazepam from my system. I've taken 30 mg of diazepam and 30 mg of oxy before and experienced no noticably respiratory problems. This 70 mg of diazepam I took over 5 hours ago barely faded me; I wasn't even all that disinhibited nor was I slurring my speech. So perharps with my tolerance it may be okay?
 
You were ok doing it with under half the dose you have taken today. Even that was a stupid risk. Its attitudes like yours that lead to accidental OD's.
 
Madog11, you really didn't reply to what I wrote about eliminating diazepam from my system from chain-smoking. I read that heavy smoking reduces the efficacy of diazepam by up to 50%. So, my serum levels will fall a lot quicker than the standard 20-200 hour half-life, right?
 
Mixing two powerful CNS depressants is always risky, and never advisable. Don't do it just to increase your sedation, you're stuck if you overdose.

You shouldn't combo these two drugs at any doses.

Moving to BDD btw.

Hastening an 80hr half-life isn't going to do much for the evening after eating 70mg Diaz, sorry mate.

Just wait. It's not worth your life.
 
smoking cigarettes only removes alprazolam at a rapid pace. valium is removed too but nowhere near the same levels.

i've experienced an OD on benzos and opiates before and i can tell you it isn't fun... trying to stay awake and feeling your heart beat getting slower and slower is so fucking frightening, you have to fight yourself to stay awake and even then you can't guarantee your heart will just give up. if you have a really high tolerance and A LOT of experience using low doses and working upwards then i would say its okay.

in your situation i'd say leave it, it could be extremely uncomfortable and it could take your life too. it's not worth the risks if you haven't experienced it before.
 
70 mg of Valium and 30 mg of Oxy is a bad idea to mix! One night when I was on a camping trip I mixed 5mg of klonopin, and 30mg of oxy. I felt like I was going to die. People had to wake me up every 5min cause my breathing was terrible. I'm very lucky I wasn't seriously hurt.

Anyways if your still going to mix them any ways, please only take like 15mg of oxy. 30mg is way to much to take with that high of a dose of Valium.
