Is 2c-e safe on these medications?

Hello, my girlfriend wants to trip 2c-e with me but she is on two medications. One being Bupropion (aka: Wellbutrin.) She is also on Guanfacine. Are these two medications safe to take with 2c-e? Will there be any reduction of effects?

Im pretty sure the wellbutrin will reduce the effects a lot, but im not positive.

Wellbutrin will reduce seizure threshold, it might not be safe to combine with psychedelics.

Wellbutrin will reduce responses to most psychedelics - lsd, shrooms, tryptamines, phenethylamines... dont know about DO*'s. While not an SSRI (affecting serotionin and well known to be potent trip-blockers), it IS also a neurotransmitter reuptake blocker (NE and Dopamine), and does appear for unknown reasons to lessen psychedelic responses.

And Roger&Me's point about seizure inhibition is a valid one.

So (a) don't waste it as it probably wont work other than very iffy effects [drug abuse is bad, that is as in wasting perfectly good drugs ], and (b) don't risk it, due to its strong increase of seizure potential.

Oh and also, the following may mean you have developed a tolerance to phenethylamines in general, meaning any 2C may not work well or at all: from the Wikipedia article on it:

There have been two reported cases of false-positive urine amphetamine tests in persons taking bupropion. Bupropion metabolites erythro-hydrobupropion and threo-hydrobupropion, which have a phenethylamine structure resembling amphetamine are likely to have been responsible for this reaction. More specific follow-up tests were negative​

Bupropion is itself a heavily substituted phenethylamine if you look at the structure.

I was reading the anti-depressants and recreational drugs thread and it said that there aren't any known risks with taking bupropion and 2c compounds.

Bupropion

Mechanism of Action
Bupropion's mechanism of action is not fully understood, but current information indicates that it is a NE and DA reuptake inhibitor, and also acts as a weak 5HT reuptake inhibitor.

Common Side Effects
Dizziness, insomnia, dry mouth, sweating, tremor, aggravation of psychosis, potential for seizures at high doses. May increase libido, especially in women.

Metabolism
Several different CYP enzymes (i.e., CYP2B6, 3A4, 2A6, 2E1, and 1A2) can mediate the biotransformation of bupropion. Primarily metabolized by CYP2B6. Inihibits the enzyme CYP2D6.
Hallucinogens (LSD/Acid, psilocybin/Shrooms, Tryptamines, 2-ct-2,DPT, DMT etc, Salvia) There are no known dangers resulting from combining these drugs with bupropion.
