Benzos Is 1mg of alprozolam enough for a first timer?

It will be a good way to gauge tolerance and see if it will be enough next time he gets xanax...I felt 1mg the first time I took it...
 
putting it under the tongue would be ideal...there's a lot of filler in that little pill...but I would just swallow it as xanax is by far one of the worst tasting drugs I've ever had...other benzo's don't taste nearly as bad lol...
 
w/ no benzo tolerance, 1mg will do veryy nicely.
Just swallow. Fast onset and high BA. He's(You?) not missing anything , especially a 1st timer.
 
I'd even suggest the possibility at testing the waters with 0.5 mg. 1 mg will be fairly strong for a benzo-naive individual, which can be good if you end up liking it, but 0.5 mg would be sufficient to relax. Take it orally, swallowed. That is the best way for a first timer. Xanax under the tongue is fine, yes, but it has a taste which only seasoned benzo users can tolerate well. You have been warned.
 
I wouldn't say that more than 1mg=blackout necessarily...but I wouldn't go above 2mg...

First time I did it, I was told to take 2 of the bars...and ya...this was when me and my friends that exp. this first time xanax together chewed all our pills up...worst taste ever...took an entire milkshake to rid the taste out of my mouth...

My friends took theirs a good 30 minutes before me (I was in the bathroom) and I got to deal with them being fucked up beyond all recognition before getting super fucked myself...one of them ended up trying to stand on a cot they had in the garage-it broke, crushing what was left of the aforementioned milkshake...unfortunately, my bag of dirt weed was right next to the milkshake and wasn't sealed so that got ruined...they ended up passing out where they were, I drove home as quickly as I could seeing how fucked up they got and I had started to feel it...I woke up late in the morning, still in my car (thankfully it was saturday so my parents didn't have to go to work and they didn't find me still in my car)...the one gram of good weed I had left was missing (some damn good strawberry kush too), all my cigarettes were gone, and I had no money left so you can imagine how pissed I was that morning lol...
 
LOL 4mg for your first time? My first was 1 or 1.5mg and it was perfect. The first time I took 2mg I blacked out (this happened for like the next five times I tried taking it so I kind of gave up, only to rediscover them years later as a heroin addict).

As has been said, over and over again, 1mg for a first time use should be great. Doesn't really matter whether you take it sublingually or orally, given you don't have any tolerance. If you're overweight I'd suggest putting it under your tongue, but otherwise I'd say just eat it. You shouldn't under any circumstance snort it, unless you like to waste drugs that is.

It should be emphasized, especially when it's your first time taking it, although this really should go for anytime you take a significant recreational dose of xanax or another benzo, make sure you won't be doing any driving or operating any (heavy) machinery. Like, yea, going on a walk all barred out can be fun, but just be prepared to function along the lines of someone who is fairly drunk. Under NO circumstances should you drive. I could tell you sooooo many stories about people I know who have driven on benzos and ended up FUCKED legally, medically, one having actually lost her life in a car accident (on oxy and pins).

Also, this goes especially for the young party going ladies, be aware that if you take a significant dose of any benzo, especially short acting ones like xanax, your inhibitions will be greatly lowered if present at all. Generally good idea to avoid sex in such a situation unless it's with your s.o. or you know your partner will be safe and not take advantage of the situation.

So yea, don't mean to be a debby downer, but please be careful.
 
You'll be fucked ass up if you've never taken xanax before and you take 1mg. Have you taken any benzos at all ever?? I take benzo's every day, I like xanax so much the ONLY way I take it is by letting it dissolve under my tongue. .5mg FUCKED ME UP the first time I ever took it.

I will never forget the taste of Xanax...I don't see how people could get used to it. But lorazepam is sweet, and clonazepam isn't bad.
 
well, it makes a big difference from one formula to another. I've had some xanax that was almost tasteless, like chalk, just as I've had lorazepam and pins that tasted similarly.
 
The only xanax or alprazalom I've ahd that didn't have that EXACT 'xanax' taste to it has been some time-released xanax in which it was very minor. That's how I test out xanax, especially if I'm getting it from an unknown source. The taste test works every time. I've never had any that tasted any differently. I love the taste of xanax, it's so good. I know it's so bitter, it's the worst, but I seriously LOVE the taste of xanax.
 
Take 1mg, .5 is weak for a lot of people and won't be noticeable whatsoever. If you actually want to use it recreationaly then I'd take 2mg. The first time I took 2mg, I passed out in my class and felt fucking amazing.

Well, the bottom line is: drugs affect each person differently. Of course, I'm sure a lot of other people have had the same or similar experiences with xanax as you, but many others have had different experiences. Although I very much prefer 1mg over 0.5mg without a tolerance, 0.5 mg is still enough for me to feel and thoroughly enjoy.
 
He ended up drinking a few beers and putting it under his tongue. He appears to be slightly "messed up" but not as much as he would like to be. Also, he agrees, it does taste awful and the taste won't go away.

I've tasted bulk alprazolam powder, it hardly has any taste at all. And one taste is enough to KO.

The taste really isnt too bad. I don't have any problems with letting a full xanax bar dissolve under my tongue. (which is the best way to take it)
