is 0.4mg of buprenorphine enough to get noticably high on?

ok i have two 0.2mg pills of buprenorphine, and i was wondering, how much would this help with a stimulant comedown if i snorted them? will it be enough to quell anxiety and basically make me feel better? or will it even effect me at all?

bearing in mind i have no opiate tolerance

I've known people with mild opiate tolerance to get sick for 24 hours off of a single .8123 mg tablet.

Bearing in mind, everyone responds different physically to all drugs, you could get either one of the following:

A) Sick, itchy and miserable as fuck, complete with nausea vomiting.

B) Feel nothing.

C) Feel something, but perhaps not what one would call favorably 'high'

D) Feel 'pretty gooood' as my pot-smoking neighbor might say.

E) Get wrecked beyond belief.


You may even find that you're allergic and therefore will need medical attention immediately, however this is unlikely, yet still possible and I wouldn't rule it out.

This response was written after I saw the term "snorted" in your post, and, as it was aimed at sublingual administration, kind of throws a monkey wrench (albeit a small one) in my response.

Why are you snorting them? They're meant for sublingual use.

Have you ever used them before? I'm only asking because you said:

stimulants used: ethylphenidate
reason for intranasal ingestion: according to many reports, alot of users experienced a more intense high than they did when taking the pill sublingually from the same dose when insufflated, so therefore, if 0.4mg is considered a 'low dose', i'd rather it worked to its maximum potential, without having to IV it. which is basically the reason i started this thread, to find out how i should ingest my drugs. my ''plan'' to snort them was literally just a plan, and open to alteration.

and is there really really such a complete randomness of effects of the same dose between different people? or was it more of a deliberatly being unhelpful, to try and make the point that you dont think i should be let anywhere near these pills and the whole scheme is pretty much a shit one...?? be honest

and i genuinely cant believe i wrote effect instead of affect. i'm going to blame it on lack of sleep and the fact that 'e' and 'a' are almost close to eachother on the keyboard, so it COULD have been an accident........

so what would you advise, assuming i am not going to 'throw them away and come back when you've grown up' or any other patronizing bluelight suggestions, that would in a perfect world be the best course of action, but generally aren't said with the intent to be helpful or with even the remotest conviction that it will happen, and therefore should just not be said
