Cocaine irritated nose/sneezing/tons of snot day after

So me and a few buddies got what appeared to be a relatively pure rock- it was solid but not overly hard, glistened, and was very white. I understand that these signs can be faked by doing things like an "acetone wash" or some sort of chemical process, as well as the fact that other chemicals can have this same appearance, but even if we thought it was shit chances are we still would have tried it. it turned out to be pretty decent, at least the high was. i'm not much of a coke connoisseur, but it definitely wasn't horrible stuff, but it definitely wasn't the best stuff either.

anyways. that was 2 nights ago, and tonight my nose is still irritated. it feels itchy, and whenever i take deep breaths through my nose i feel like i want to sneeze, and a lot of the time i have been sneezing over the past 2 days. the snot has gone down, but this morning and most of yesterday my nose would not stop dripping. i don't habitually use coke, only a few times every month or 2, and i did not do an abnormal amount. i'm not panicking or worrying really, more just curious if anyone knows if this is caused by a specific chemical? I had watched a documentary about cocaine a little while back and I remember them talking about some sort of chemical that is horrible for the skin and a lot of coke is cut with it. does anyone know what i'm talking about or am i just trippin?

I think the chemical you are talking about is Levamisole. Unfortunately most coke is cut with this really bad stuff.

Your cocaine is almost certainly cut, and it may not even be sterile.

You could try using your cocaine with another ROA like oral or plugged, to be able to give your nose a break.

I use "Neil Med Saline Rinse". Best purchase I have ever made. Feels like you are drowning for a second, but should fix you right up. Use it when you get up in the morning and when you go to bed at night. Should nip that sinus infection in the butt quickly. You can get it at any pharmacy OTC.

if nasal spray is unavailable to you at the time, you can also tip your head back and pour water into your nostrils. It's kind of nasty because whatever is in your nose at the time will suddenly splat right into the back of your throat, but it's cleansing and feels much better afterwards. I sure hope your stuff wasn't cut with levamisole. Switch dealers right away and see if you get the same effects from a different product.

ps- if your nose bleeds, there's a good chance that it is cut. Cocaine is a vasoconstrictor and acts to prevent bleeding, while adulterants can irritate your nasal cavities and cause nosebleeds. All of the shit coke I've had made my nose bleed anywhere from a little to a lot.

swim has tried snorting a couple drops of water (usually in the bathroom after a hit), helps the next morning, and helps the coke "drip" faster. if your not too fond of this, vicks vaporub helps, if you rub it on your nostrils before bed; if you even sleep that night, hehe.

I personally disagree. I got stuff that I know for a fact was pure, and it would occasionally cause nosebleeds. I think it was due to the fact that pure cocaine retains moisture so easily that it clumps up, thus irritating the skin, causing nosebleeds and sneezing, which I have definitely experienced. On days that I would do blow I would sneeze in increments of 3-6 times instead of my 3 max, and I would do it probably 4-6 times per day.

I also disagree about levamisole being used as a common cut. It is not an easy chemical to obtain and unlike the common perception, most drug dealers don't want to put a product out that will harm their customers. It's not exactly good economics. They would much rather use something that is easily accessible and neutral, like creatine.
