Iolite Wispr / Atmos Raw for DMT?

Hi guys

Has anyone had any success using DMT in an Iolite Wispr or a Atmos Raw vaporiser?
I've had a search on the Internet and a few people seem to think these devices would be spot on for DMT... But sadly no reports on actually using them.

I own both devices and am willing to sacrifice one to DMT (stained forever with the smell/taste).

If anyone has used and had success/fails with either I would be very interested in hearing your findings, or even others opinions on why these could be good/bad.
 
I have been using a Atmos Raw for herbs and have thought about if it would work for DMT. I think it would be too hard to control the heat because it just has the coil on the bottom that lights up red I think once the DMT liquefied it would just be a boiling/burning puddle on the coil. Maybe with the glass screen on it ? but it still seems like the liquid would just go through and burn.

I do wonder about a pen vape that is more designed for oils and extracts.
 
Yeah I can't see a glass screen doing much either as once liquified it would still seep through straight to the coil.

A sandwich method could work...maybe?
Layer of herb, DMT, more herb?

I think the Iolite could actually pull off a sandwich method pretty well as it doesn't completely destroy your herb like the Atmos Raw does (not tried with a glass screen for just herb).
 
...but with that said the iolite uses a pin to heat not a coil so it would be harder to 'sandwich'

I have the Atmos Raw but don't think it would really lend itself to smoking DMT. Or rather it would be an ineffective and wasteful method considering how difficult it is to control the temperature.
 
IMO it would be hard as shit to breakthrough. With my iolite it's hard to even get a dose of weed quick enough, with DMT it would probably be just a visual experience and nothing more


it seems like a great way to share a trip with some friends and just keep riding the rush for hours at a time, but would be VERY wasteful. If you're doing DMT extractions and have grams sitting around to play with, go for it! Otherwise it'd probably be best to stick to the more classic methods..
